Is this implantation bleeding? 5DPO

I never had this with my first and was shocked to wipe and see this this morning (will put a photo in comments)

Not actively trying for #2 but were going to start soon.

We had sex 5 days before I ovulated so thought I'd be pretty safe this month (and I ovulated 6 days ago, so I'm 5DPO today.

Felt a really sharp pain down in my right 'ovary' area last night. It took my breath away and lasted about 5 seconds - I had to breathe it through it!! And now today this spotting.

I'm so so shocked if I am pregnant - but as I didn't spot last time I feel a bit concerned. It's quite red?!

Any advice Mumsnet?

This was the second wipe so there was quite a bit of blood!

I should also note I've never spotted at this point in my cycle before!

Ive never had implantation bleeding so can't help there, would 5dpo be too early? Seems like quite a lot of blood for implant bleeding but I really don't know,.. I did however feel implantation when I got my BFP with my son, like you said very sharp pain that definitely makes you stop and take notice of it! Its actually hurt more then I thought it ever would! haha
