False positive

Hi, so I did a test this morning, first pee of the day. A positive line appeared almost straight away. I did however pee over the max line so wondering if this could cause a false positive, I did another test and it was negative what do you think? Unsure how to add a pic of said positive test

If you flooded the test by going over the Max line I don’t think you can trust that result I’m afraid.

Retest in a couple of days to be sure. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, I'm thinking the same thing but my heart still stopped when I saw the line appeared. Will test again in a couple days to be sure

Best to pee in a wee pot then dip the test I find!

As daydream says a little cup is perfect. I had a little plastic measure cup that came with cough medicine (never used and obvs thrown out after!!) or anything clean floating around the house

Ha, I managed to do almost exactly the same when I tested yesterday - albeit I was using a pot, but I managed to dip the test too far in and I was stunned to see a too-thin test line pop up immediately 😂 you have to laugh, otherwise you’d cry…

I got a false one this morning confirmed it with a frer (pic added) it's sucks when u think this is to realise it's not
