TTC First Time - Ovulation

Have started TTC for the first time and am getting a bit confused by ovulation. I’m using the Flo app and according to that my fertile period started Tuesday 29/03 and ends today. I have used digital ovulation tests each day since Tuesday and had negative results Tuesday & Wednesday and “high fertility” every day since then (including today).

If I don’t go into the “peak” fertility does that mean I haven’t ovulated? Really wish I had done a bit more research before starting Confused

Most likely. Honestly, I'd use a fertility app to input data, not to predict ovulation as they're extremely inaccurate. What cycle day are you on? I'd keep going with the ovulation tests, keep doing the deed too.

For what it's worth, I've been ttc #2 for 7 months and always input my data onto an app. I usually get a positive opk around the same time too. It said this morning my fertile window was over until I input that I had my peak this morning and the algorithm completely changed it.

I’m on day 11 of my cycle (I seem to have a short 22 day cycle). I’ve been using the Flo app set to the TTC mode. Will have a look at other apps.

We’ve DTD every day since Thursday and will also DTD today.

I’m wondering if as it’s the first month of trying the algorithm of the app isn’t quite there yet?

As it's your first cycle I think the app will take a while to learn what's 'normal' for you.. I'm on cycle #1 TTC #2 and although my ovulation date changed etc when I entered a positive opk test it still says my period is due in 14 days which I know won't happen as I have a short Luteal phase of 10-11 days.. once I've recorded a few cycles it will 'remember' that information. I use fertility friend, looks quite old fashioned but it is clear and easy to use.

Thanks @Graceybaby that’s reassuring. I think I’m overthinking it a little. I need to give it a bit more time before I know what’s my normal ec
