14DPO Faint BFP

Hi everyone,

I am in a bit of a pickle. I'll post pics down below of the tests but I'm a nervous wreck. I tested yesterday at 13DPO with a FRER with FMU and got a faint but definite pink & there line, I also did a clear blue early detection and saw a faint line & did a clear blue digital weeks estimator which was negative.

This morning at 14dpo, period is nowhere to be seen, which has never happened in my puff, usually always spot 12-13 days after I get my positive OPK. i tested with a clear blue early detection again which looked like it got darker which I was happier with, did a FRER which was much and such the same as yesterday and also another clear blue negative digital.

My immediate thought is chemical and that it's not going to end well, I've been having period like pain on and off since about 11DPO, the only encouragement I feel at the moment is that I don't have my period. My gut is telling me that the line should be way darker.. this is my first ever positive tests after struggling with infertility and PCOS for the last 2 years and I don't think I could bear losing it.

Thanks, I'm just really really concerned it's so light for 14dpo and still no positive digital

at 14dpo I'd expect a darker line, any chance of a late ovulation? Really hope it's a late bloomer for you x

I got my positive ovulation test on 19th March and also had really sore ovulation pain that night so I'm pretty sure it happened then. Only thing I can think of is late implantation as I tested completely negative at 9dpo and also 10DPO. Didn't test at 11 or 12dpo. I dunno what to think! X

I wouldn't worry about comparing the two days. Even if theyre both fmu, there can be so many reasons why urine is more diluted. The CB was stronger anyway so looks great!

Thank you! I just find it really hard to believe and I don't think I will until the FRER is much darker as I'm just so so scared of a chemical :(

Unfortunately that's what my chemical looked like so I think you'll have to wait to know and we will all cross our fingers and toes for you.

My lines for my pregnancies (one live birth, two miscarriages at 7W3D) were a solid noticeable line by 10 or 11 DPO. This is what they looked like at 8 DPO, except my chemical which looked like that the day after my period was due. I got it 4 days after I should've gotten it unfortunately.

I really really hope that's not the case for you.

Hopefully you just ovulated late (even though I know you had positive OPK)/ implanted late.

It looks positive to me anyway :)

This probably isn’t what you want to hear but I had a chemical last week and my first real sign was that at 14dpo the line on a FRER was faint.

I didn’t test on 15dpo, on 16dpo I tested and the line had almost disappeared and I then started bleeding.

Your line does look really faint for 14dpo but I hope for your sake you’ve just ovulated late or your HCG is rising slowly.

This was my faint BFP at 14dpo if that helps.

Unfortunately the test is negative this morning & I think I have a tiny bit of spotting so pretty sure it was a chemical. Was nice while it lasted 😔

Thanks everyone, I just don't know how much longer of TTC I can put myself through, it's been over 2 years and mentally it feels like our lives are on pause. It's a hard one to swallow :(
