TTC Cycle 21 BBT chart different. 10dpo. could it be?

I'm 38, TTC for so long. Chemical last August, early miscarriage in Nov.
My chart has never looked like this. I started after the miscarriage. Usually more down spikes at this point.
I used opks, track CP, and obsessively test from 5 dpo every time. So weak!
I've run out of tests by 9dpo this time.
(I know, it's a problem but is ICs so, well, never mind) more tests arrive tomorrow.

Could it be? I've got back ache since last night and that's my main symptom from Nov I had noted on Flo.
Do have mild pre- AF cramps too though.
I'm hoping to add a line eyes pic to this tomorrow 😜

Just to add, long time lurker. Would love it if there's anyone else around 10dpo to go through the last few days with?

I’m 10 DPO but just started to spot so think AF is arriving early.
This is 3rd cycle of TTC my 3rd baby so not long but it’s been 10 years since I was pregnant and I’m now 38 so feeling anxious about it and like we are on the clock.

curliegirlie · 03/04/2022 19:43

That certainly looks like it could be positive - I got a triphasic chart the cycle I conceived my eldest 😁. Fingers crossed!

PennyPencils · 03/04/2022 20:15

@Pheepa @curliegirlie
Thanks for answering. I've started cramping as well as the backache so I'm thinking I might have been warmer this morning because I had extra blankets 😑
Spotting may be nothing. Seems from what I've read on here loads of people spot or bleed and go on to have bfp.
Fingers crossed for us ☺️

Fingers crossed for you all! The wait is awful isn’t it I wish there was just a way of knowing for sure without the tww. I am 9 dpo and going to use a frer tomorrow. I’ve got all sorts of symptoms but I’ve just come back from my honeymoon so I’m not sure if it’s just jet lag or not!

Pheepa · 04/04/2022 06:58

Good luck everyone. Spotting hasn’t developed yet so fingers crossed. I’m not hopeful though, feel very PMS-y and we didn’t BD as much this month. I know I shouldn’t expect it to be quick at 38 and it doesn’t necessarily indicate it won’t ever happen but it’s so hard not to let it stress you out isn’t it?

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 07:25

Is anyone else tracking BBT?
I'm 11dpo today. I usually know my now that I'm not pregnant as would have been poas but I ran out of cheapies and you can't get FRERs where I live, not even Amazon ( I'm not in UK)
BBT chart today ... I'm trying to coach myself into knowing I could have just been warm.
Have backache and mild AF type cramps. Am very bloated. When I was pregnant with my 1st and only, 16 years ago I didn't know until I was 13 weeks! Now I'm so aware of my uterus! 🙈

@Thestoppedfan looking forward to seeing how your frer goes. Keep us updated. Congrats on your wedding. A honeymoon baby would be so lovely. I've got cheapies coming today so will test a bit later. I think I implanted at 9dpo if I am pregnant so should be enough HCG for a 10miu to pick up.

@Pheepa I was stressed about it straight from the start as I was just turned 37 when we started and I'll be 39 this summer.

Good luck to us all. 🤞

I don’t track BBT, I think it might be one thing too much for me! I use CB digital OPK and get strong ovulation pains so fairly sure I am at least ovulating, at approx the ‘right’ time each month. I always wonder how accurate the temp readings can be too, do you not need some sort of mega accurate thermometer? Do you do under tongue readings?

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 10:08

@Pheepa it's a €9 bbt thermometer from Amazon and I do under the tongue yes.
It's been really good to see the shift from lower to higher temps which means usually ovulation definitely occurred.
My tests just arrived. Not fmu but .. after nearly two years of trying, we might finally be having a baby!

@PennyPencils ah fantastic, congratulations! I might order a thermometer if this isn’t our month.
Sitting at work wondering if every time I go to the loo whether there’ll be any pink when I wipe or not! Still nothing so far this morning, never had spotting that didn’t develop into AF overnight before and 10 DPO would be early for me anyway. Really trying not to get hopes up that it was implantation though!

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 10:18

@Pheepa is so hard to keep calm about it isn't it. After our miscarriage my partner can be a bit negative so I probably won't tell him yet.
I'm rubbish at keeping it in so probably will later.
He's trying to save my feelings as I was so excited then so gutted of course when it ended.
Can't love not enjoying things incase it goes wrong though. I'm so happy! All the best of luck to you. I thought after 21 months it just wasn't going to happen for us X

curliegirlie · 04/04/2022 10:49

Yay, a tentative congratulations- I thought that chart looked good!

Thestoppedfan · 04/04/2022 11:10

@PennyPencils omg congratulations! That’s fantastic news!

@Pheepa that’s sounding good my fingers are crossed for you!

I did a frer this morning it’s BFN but if I hold it up to the light there’s a shadow… it’s officially sending me crazy this trying to conceive business haha I’m going to test again in a couple of days.

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 11:16

@Thestoppedfan well I've done plenty of FRERs and never had even an imaginary line on one no matter what I did with them. So early though. You're 10dpo now? Two more days should be better

How exciting!
Did you do anything different on the months you’ve had your BFPs do you think?
Fingers crossed this one sticks for you

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 17:58

@Pheepa I really did. I had no barely any alcohol for the last two months and none this month bar a glass of wine with dinner once before I ovulated.
I have been taking magnesium for two.months which has given me miles better sleep which can't be bad. I've had a vitamin b complex plus my usual folic acid. We DTD more every other day instead of every day in the fertile window and that apparently gives sperm a chance to mature a bit. Supposed to be a good thing. Been eating super healthy, no sugar, lots of nuts, seeds, healthly fats, veg fruit and eggs and next to no refined carbs (bread or pasta) oh, and a tin of sardines not in oil almost every day. I've become addicted!

OP posts:
PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 17:59

Oh and a good dose of vitamin d every evening with dinner x

OP posts:
Pheepa · 04/04/2022 19:41

Wow! I best get to work! 😂

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 20:38

@Pheepa 🤣 I'm determined to do whatever o can. Of course, it might be down to coincidence that we've got this far this time and could all end yet.
Fingers crossed

OP posts:
Pheepa · 04/04/2022 20:48

I’ve drastically cut alcohol, caffeine and takeaways and been taking folic acid, a multivitamin, vit D, omega 3 and ubiquinol. Hubby taking a man’s multi vitamin but nothing conception specific. I use OPKs and take note of CM. So definitely ‘trying’. Not found the willpower to change my diet completely yet though!
Still not sure whether this spotting will turn into AF. It’s only there when i wipe and hardly anything. Will be extra cruel if it stops for a few days and then AF still arrives!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 04/04/2022 21:38

How cool @PennyPencils - I read from the beginning and thought that graph looked v convincingly positive. Congrats- you must have over the moon.

Do you have any issues on either side that has meant it's taken a few years ?

PennyPencils · 04/04/2022 21:52

@Pheepa ah yes Ive been feeding OH with various vitamins for a few months now as well.
I think so.much is just timing. 1 in 4 chance of pregnancy every month but that's before age 35 then it's massively less so can just be unlucky Every time, until we aren't! You're doing more than most who fall quickly without trying for long. I'm sure it'll happen for you. Stay positive. Easier said than done, sorry if that sounds patronising X

@FlyOnTheWall89 ah thank you. After being a long time lurker, even joining in on the threads was is my plan for a bit of extra luck!
I think I've had a fair bit of stress and my job is very hard on-season so summer months is physically going against me I think. Who knows. No known issues though but we didnt have any tests apart from my gynea exam looking all good and my bloods a couple times, again all good

OP posts:
Pheepa · 04/04/2022 21:58

@PennyPencils not patronising at all!
We fell quickly both times before and know I have no reason not to be positive this time, signs of ovulation are all there. I’m just absolutely rubbish at not overthinking things!
