So I'm really confused, after 3 miscarriages I finally because pregnant with what seems to be a normal pregnancy!! Getting those really dark lines(as shown)daily! Went for a scan today 31/03/2022 and it's only showing to be about 3-4 weeks, me assuming the tests would still be faint but there showing like I'm 6 weeks or further... took digital 1 said 1-2 weeks and another said 2-3 weeks, I'm so confused n actually really disheartened as was expecting to see something on the screen, having a rescan on the 6/5/2022 but I'm going out of my mind!!! Has this happened to anyone else before???

Tests are picking up HCG. They don’t magically guess how many weeks you are.
According to your last period you can calculate how far along you are. But if your scan showed 3-4 weeks, I would say that’s correct. And those tests won’t get any darker as your pregnancy progresses.

Thankyou for replying.. would you say that scan looks normal for a very early on pregnancy?

I’m not sure, but the scan picture has your personal details on, just making you aware incase you want to be anonymous. I’d avoid doing more tests while you wait for your next scan because it will just drive you mad and those clearblue ones don’t always get it right Flowers

I’d go with what the scans said, rather than the test. But also ask MN to remove the photo.

KimMumsnet · 31/03/2022 18:10

Hi, OP. We've removed your scan photo now as you'd included some identifying info in the picture. Feel free to post a cropped version on the thread.

DeeRoo · 31/03/2022 18:20

This is the scan, does this look normal for so early on??

Help please!!!!

At 3-4 weeks not much can be seen on a scan. Your tests are also consistent with 3-4 weeks, so I wouldn’t worry. Wait till your next scan and fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy!
