I have created a new thread as the previous one is about to fill up. I've tagged some of us here, but apologies if I have missed anyone.

@Tinkerbell098 the clinic did the funding, they applied for me once all my tests had been done, I didn't have to send anything off. I had a huge pack of forms in the post which we read through, and we signed and dated them all in the first face to face meeting we had with an IVF nurse.

@kay00 amazing! Thats great news. Glad it was a good experience :) fingers crossed for maturity and fertilisation. I dont feel like a great example atm but my one egg was mature and did fertilise (we had ICSI), if my lone egg can do it, yours definitely can!

@tinkerbell098 yey! Great news for you too! Noone ever spoke to us about funding but there were 1000 online forms and things to 'sign' and watch and read 😅

@Kay00 18 eggs is amazing! I had 16 and had pain after so the fact you don't is great. Fingers crossed for the next few days.

@Tinkerbell098 that's great news. Our funding came through very quickly as well, a couple weeks max I think.

More good news this morning. Of my 18 eggs retrieved, all 18 were mature, and 13 of these were fertilised by ICSI.

My next update will be on Saturday (day 3) and we are still on track for a single blast transfer on day 5 (Monday or Tuesday)... assuming the eggs continue to develop that is.

Wow @Kay00 these are great numbers!!! You'll end up with a surplus!

CD13 for me and currently no action (OPKs negative, no temp rise, no ewcm) on 5mg letrozole. Giving it till Monday (CD17)until I decide to be bleak about it.

That's amazing @Kay00. Fantastic numbers and hopefully a great sign of egg quality that so many were mature and fertilized. Thrilled for you. When do you get your next update and how are the physical symptoms?

Fingers crossed for a ton of action for you @TheDaydreamBelievers. Sucks that you're left waiting so long but hope the Letrozole does the trick for you.

Surrounded by announcements here yesterday and today and physically just so tired. Turns out 5 rounds of IVF in 4.5 months will take it out of you. Also have to have a tooth pulled on Tuesday which I'm blaming IVF for. On the bright side not long til the weekend and I have a date with Wanda in the morning so will start my day with a bit of action 😂😂

@TheDaydreamBelievers hmm... how large a dose of Letrozole can they give you? I hope this dose works for you, albeit later than hoped 🤞

@Kay00 they usually don't go north of 10mg but some studies have suggested 12mg. I'm just really worried it's not going to work at all and anxious that we don't actually know what specifically is stopping me ovulating. I hate my body right now for being such a failure at this.

@TheDaydreamBelievers letrazole is so weird, some months it just didn’t work for me and there was no rhyme or reason to it. I hope in a couple of days there are indications of progress x

Thanks a mil @pinkginpls @jeaniej. 10 follicles this morning. Yay. Bit worried though as I have a 20, a 17, a 15.5 and then 7 smallies between 7 and 11. Ideally that's the cohort we'd be after I think and I'm guessing if that's the case we'd be retrieving next Friday which would be good news for a family event on next weekend. But my clinic hasn't waited for the smaller cohort before so will have to see what they say and how the smallies keep growing. Won't hear back Re next steps til the afternoon but assuming scan Monday and don't think they'll increase the stims dose so hopefully it's looking like that gamble there hasn't done too much harm. All in all not a bad scan.

@TheDaydreamBelievers have seen a lot of people on the forums have success on 7.5/10mg where 5mg didn't work so hope that works for you if you don't see more progress at 5.

@beckyCarlos definitely not good when you get more action from your nurse is it 😂😂🙈🙈 the toll of treatment.

@TheDaydreamBelievers 😓Oh no, I'm sorry you feel this way. It must be super frustrating. I really hope the find the Letrozole dose that works for you. Do you know how many months they will try it? And do you know what the next steps might be if it doesn't work?

Thank you ladies! @Tillybabs Yes, the embryologist said yesterday that with 13 embryos they would hope that by day 5 we should have at least one of good enough quality to transfer back as a single (my clinic will transfer two if there are only lower-quality embryo's to work with). And he hoped we would have a few to freeze, but we need to wait and see what happens on day 3 first.

@Gracie2021 Yey, great numbers! And plenty of time for those smallies to catch up if you are looking for retrieval next week. Good luck with the chat this afternoon!

@Kay00 they usually offer 4-6 months at a dose that works. If ineffective, IVF

Hi ladies. For those of you who have had an egg collection through ivf.. how did you feel afterwards? My ovaries are sore (as expected) but it's my stomach that feels really tender. I also have indigestion and diarrhea (sorry TMI 🙈). I'm eating and drinking, but I feel really full and bloated all the time. I'm shattered and have to walk everywhere slowly. Is this normal for IVF or is it my IBS playing up? 😆

Hi @Kay00 well done on your EC! Sounds like you have amazing numbers - fingers crossed for the day 3 update tomorrow!! Sorry you're feeling poorly now though - I had diarrhoea after my first ec (but not after my second or third), and it cleared after a couple of days. I was a bit spooked but the nurses said it wasn't unusual. I felt more broken after my second ec, probably because we got more eggs, but again it only took a couple of days before I felt better. If it's continuing and you don't start to feel better then def worth discussing with the nurses at your clinic to make sure there isn't anything you should be worried about. Hopefully you feel better soon!!

Thank you both @Juno231 @99pctpractice . I think I'll mention it to the embryologist tomorrow. I'm hoping its just my IBS (none of these symptoms are particularly unusual for me), but I do feel quite uncomfortable.

Fingers crossed it settles down for you soon @Kay00. It does sound similar to symptoms I've seen other people have on the forums afterwards. For me the one downside of DOR is a quick recovery from retrieval. Defo ask the embryologist though. Is today day 3 or tomorrow?

Have to have a non IVF related procedure yesterday and am guzzling the solpadols here today. Really hoping it doesn't affect egg quality.
