Positive then blood

Hi I took a test yesterday which came back faint positive, then started bleeding later that day. Took another today which was clearer positive but I'm still bleeding. Anyone had that happen and everything was ok

How much blood? Amy pain? What colour?

It's red and runny, no clots tho. It's like a light period and pain in lower back but know where else

I’m afraid to say that when I had a positive followed by period pain and bright red blood it ended as a chemical. There seems to be a range of bleeding in early pregnancy so it’s not to say that my story will be yours. A couple of months after my chemical I got a sticky bean and I’m now 11 weeks pregnant. I hope it all works out for you x

I had a similar experience last year, I had faint positives for about a week and started bleeding like normal period with some light pains. I was advised by Dr's to test again after the bleeding had stopped, it was extremely strong positive. I was referred to the EPU for a scan and it turned out to be ectopic.
I really hope this isn't the case for you as there is a whole load of reasons for bleeding in early pregnancy.
