CD45 and still a BFN

As per the title, on CD45 and again this morning got another BFN. I feel absolutely drained.

We've been TTC for over a year now whilst tracking etc for just under. I'm sure my body just likes me to go into overthinking especially concerning symptom spotting! Sad I've made a doctors appointment to discuss what's going on so hopefully we can find out some answers.

Has anyone else had longer cycles when normally 28/29 day cycles?

@BingeOnChocolate how do you track ovulation? How many dpo?

My cycles were very irregular, any where from 40-110 days, after some research and a lot of supplements I have got them down to 30-42days which I am much happier about.

BingeOnChocolate · 30/03/2022 10:35

I used Flo and natural cycles taking my temp every morning. Im currently 29DPO

You can't be 29 DPO with a negative test unfortunately. Either your period would have come by now or you would be testing positive. Are you sure about ovulation? It sounds like you may not have ovulated yet this cycle.

beanchopper17 · 30/03/2022 10:46

@BingeOnChocolate not to be rude, it's not possible to be 29dpo, I am wondering if you have ovulated yet. Apps aren't accurate it's only a guide and works out ovulation based on previous information put into it.

Have you tried using opks? Do you suffer pcos?

BingeOnChocolate · 30/03/2022 11:40

Haven't taken it as rude at all. Flo put me as 'guess' on ovulation on 28 Feb but when I done my temp for natural cycles, it showed as ovulating 1st March. I've counted 29 days from then to now but obviously something is wrong for no period still when I'm usually regular and I'm getting negative tests. Confused

I've a telephone appointment this afternoon with my GP to discuss so maybe she'll have more ideas

@BingeOnChocolate I highly recommend easy@home ovulation strips, I have been using them for years and 100% accurate confirming ovulation (well that I peaked anyways).

Tracking can be a minefield and happy to offer any support where I can, like I say been ttc for over 10years (sadly I have fertility issues)

lilrosemarie · 30/03/2022 13:37

I had a longer cycle the month I had omicron - it was 49 days, when they are usually 28-31 days long. 😬

@BingeOnChocolate we were trying and unsuccessful for just under a year. When we were coming up to the year point we tried the clear blue ovulation sticks and since then we’ve gotten pregnant 3 times in the space of 5 months.

Unfortunately I suffered 2 early miscarriages but that’s just unfortunate. If you’re not tracking ovulation it might be good to try?

Currently on week 5 and praying this is our miracle
