Hi @cdc I don't think I ovulated as I was testing positive for weeks after and my cycles were totally off but as you say everyone is different. It may help to track using opk after a month or so if like me you didn't know what was happening with your body

@calimc83 I'm ok. Still in the land of BFN

Tried smep this cycle and I am exhausted and going between super hopeful and thinking its not going to happen.

@Passenger87 glad you are ok. Sorry for the BFN's..it's souls destroying. I've had a look at SMEP it sounds v hard core 😬..not sure DH could manage all that. Are u in the 2WW now?
@Cdoc so sorry for your loss. I'm pretty sure I ovulated after my MC just because of changes to cervical mucus. My consultant after the MC advised me to wait till after first AF as apparently that lets the uterine lining build back up again x

@calimc83 yeah I found it tough going as did DH. There was no romance or tenderness or even sexy vibes whatsoever by the last time.

Yep in the 2ww, 6dpo. Have you begun trying again?

Hey all just wanted to say my 3rd cycle after my but first time trying SMEP worked for me this month. It's not easy and I did miss out the last day they say to dtd so good luck to anyone trying it!

@MooBugz congratulations that's wonderful news! I am trying to keep myself in check but it's hard not to hope, especially after putting in all that effort!!

@Passenger87 eek are u an early tester or will u hold out? Not started trying yet..just waiting for AF to show her ugly face..then will ( I think) start again after that x

@calimc83 I am trying to hold out until Friday (9dpo), I think doing it before that I'll just stress myself out.

Any idea how much longer you'll be waiting for AF?

@Passenger87 oh not too long then..everything crossed for you..hmm..I reckon maybe another week or so? I'm coming up to 4 weeks since the MC. I think my last one came at 5ish weeks..but really I've not got a clue! How long did it take for yours to come after MC? X

@calimc83 it was nearly 5 weeks for me. How are you feeling about trying again? (If you don't want to talk about it feel free to tell me f'off =) I just remember having a lot of feelings about it. If you ever wanna talk my inbox is always there x

I feel really anxious tbh! Tested at 9dpo yday but will test again on Friday. I think no matter what I was always going to be anxious with pregnancy after a mc. But trying to be positive and not let it ruin things but it's hard since I was 11 weeks last time and felt so close to the 'safe' zone of 3 months.

Got everything crossed for you guys though and I'm not going to say try not to think about it because having been there it's all I think about! I have to say I did intend to try SMEP a further cycle had it not worked out this month

@MooBugz I think if my bfp ever comes I will be much the same. You're right it's hard not to be. Here's hoping smep is the magic formula for me too. If not we did say we would try it again next month, but it was definitely much more regimental than we are used to.

@Passenger87 aww no it's fine 😆! I find talking really helps actually..erm, it's weird..sort of anxious to get going but even more anxious about having another MC. Kind of feel like they'd all I'm geared up to have now 🙈..can I ask, how long ago was your MC? ( equally if I ask too much tell me to F off 🙈😆) x

@calimc83 it was April 21. Because it was a bit complicated and there was surgery etc we took a little break. Started trying again in August but took a break around Dec as I was really struggling.

I find the same, it helps to talk. I found talking to DH pretty good. Making sure we are both on the same page. I'm due to have another surgery in the next 6 months so I really feel the clock ticking.

How long were you trying last time?

@Passenger87 also I hate the whole TTC malarkey. It's super stressful and completely takes over 😬

Hi ladies,
Have read through a few of your posts & sorry to hear of everyone's losses. It would be nice to join for some mutual moral support.
I've had 2 losses in the past 5 months. A MMC in Jan, which was found at my 12 week scan & a natural MC at 7 weeks beginning of May. Trying to conceive our 1st baby & feels like such a difficult journey so far x

@bunnykins123 completely understandable it’s so shit and you just want answers after all that’s happened x I was drinking a lot too it gets really depressing when u keep having miscarriages and everyone around u seems to get pregnant fine and have no complications xx

Congrats @MooBugz it seems we’re in the same boat I’m so anxious and knicker checking for blood every hour. I’m 6 +3 and have had mild stomach cramps everyday since the beginning so not helping my anxiety. Its shit not being able to get excited xx

@Passenger87 sounds like you've been on quite the journey lovely. I'm sorry 😞 has the grief lessened slightly now? Will u keep trying if your due to have surgery soon? X

@Astar21 so sorry for your losses. I've also had 2 MMC one in Nov and one in May. It's heartbreaking 💔 xx

Yes I'm going to keep trying up to September and then I have another appointment with my consultant. But I'm hoping to get my bfp in the meantime.
