So I caved and tested at 9dpo didn't think much but I have a faint line!

Can't describe the nerves and anxiety that it comes with though but for now I'll allow some happiness 🙈

Hey everyone. I can't believe I'm back here again. 2nd MMC in 7 months. Found out again at a 'reassurance' scan...happened at 7+6 when should have been 10 weeks. Pretty much same thing happened again with me. No sign of MC at all..no real loss is symptoms/no spotting nothing. Feels like such a kick in the teeth, I have had 2 healthy pregnancies as well so really struggling for answers at the mo. Managed to get a referral to recurrent MC team so that's something at least. Have bought pretty much every supplement under the sun now, I'm 39 so pretty much declaring my eggs as defunct 🙈😫..@pangolin84 I'm so sorry about your loss. I was in the same position as you a month ago. We were due to go on hol 5 days later. I went with the MVA as all done and dusted on the day so to speak. If u can still go away, I personally would go. Did me the world of good to get away oh and I also told them about the hol so they managed to get me in and out that day xx

theblueflowers · 06/06/2022 18:55

Hi @calimc83 we were on a previous thread together, sorry to hear about your experience 😞

I am in a similar experience, with two miscarriages in 7 months. My latest one was also found at a reassurance scan at 10 weeks where I was measuring 7+1. I'm sure they must get this happen quite often, but they didn't seem to know what to do with me when they told me! It was such a surreal experience.

Really great that you could get a referral though- sometimes it just helps to have a plan in place. I couldn't wait and have gone private. I have my first set of bloods tomorrow.

I think I am ovulating either today or tomorrow, so will also have the TWW to contend with! It's my second cycle post MC and I am trying my best not to get consumed by it, but these past 7 months just feel like a complete waste- I have nothing to show for them!

@MooBugz a great like for 9dpo- congratulations!

@calimc83 so sorry to hear that 😢 I hope you are ok and get some answers from the referral

pangolin84 · 06/06/2022 20:49

Thanks @mummyofrb and @calimc83 for sharing your experiences. I’m so sorry for your losses - it really is the most awful thing 😢
We’ll see how tomorrow goes but if they can fit us in soon I think we’ll opt for surgical intervention as well. Feel like I’ll need a break after this trauma even if we have to miss the beginning of the holiday.

calimc83 · 06/06/2022 21:07

@theblueflowers hey, I remember you 😊 how are u doing? gosh we do have super similar stories. I feel really traumatised about scans now..I'm patiently waiting for AF to show and then I think we'll go again. I feel exactly the same as you did though, TTC has taken over my life these past few months. I'm really reluctant to let this happen again..but I'm an anxious person 😬argh the dreaded 2WW..good luck!!! Hate it with a passion x
@Skl2021 hey lovely, nice to hear from u. Hope all is ok with u? Xx

calimc83 · 06/06/2022 21:09

@pangolin84 thinking of you tomorrow. It'll be over before u know it. I went for it on the Gas and Air, didn't feel a thing and can barely remember anything xx

youngiesophie · 06/06/2022 21:10

@pangolin84 I chose medical and it was awful. So painful was throwing up and coming out both ends sorry tmi but just being honest with my experience. I was in excruciating pain my mum had to call 111 to see if it was normal and in the end I just passed out from the pain. Woke up fine but then weeks later started bleeding a lot of massive clots and was in so much pain, went to hospital and my preg test was positive so I had to have surgical anyway to get all the leftover product out. I had a very negative experience sorry to say lol x

Skl2021 · 06/06/2022 21:11

@calimc83 yes I'm good thankyou. Kept thinking of you but didn't want to pester you ♥️ hope you will be back on our thread soon. Keep strong 💞😘 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 07/06/2022 06:17

@calimc83 So sorry you’re going through that again :(

@MooBugz Congrats! A lovely line for 9dpo :)

@bunnykins123 Unfortunately I started spotting last night so it looks like AF will be coming as usual on Thursday. Hoping to fit our beach day in tomorrow before it gets here though! (and in between rain days 🤦🏻‍♀️)

calimc83 · 07/06/2022 09:09

@TheBirdintheCave thank you lovely, will be ok. What doesn't kill u makes u stronger eh? 😘 sorry to hear about the spotting. Enjoy your beach day xx

pangolin84 · 07/06/2022 12:18

@youngiesophie Oh my goodness that sounds incredibly traumatic, I’m sorry you had to go through that ☹️ Thanks for sharing your experience - it has definitely put me off that option!
I had a little bit of brown blood and small clots this morning before we went to the EPAU. They scanned me again and confirmed the missed miscarriage. We’d pretty much decided to go for surgical management when we talked about it last night, but this bleeding starting has really thrown me and now going to wait it out for a day or two to see what happens.

Passenger87 · 07/06/2022 12:44

@calimc83 so sorry, this journey sucks at times.

xxx

youngiesophie · 07/06/2022 13:02

@pangolin84 Have been thinking about you all day🥺 Hopefully it passes naturally and I’m so sorry for what you are going through ☹️ Xxx

bunnykins123 · 07/06/2022 13:22

@TheBirdintheCave oh no, I'm so sorry you've started to spot. Fingers crossed AF stays away 🤞 I'm just drinking through AF now and trying to just not think about the stress of ttc too much whilst away.

@theblueflowers good luck for your bloods today! Which ones did you get taken?

@MooBugz great line for 9dpo, congratulations!

@youngiesophie thank you! The consultant didn't really say too much, only advise what vitamins I should be taking. I have to book some tests when I'm back which I expected anyway. Ive also registered to see Dr Shehata as I'm totally done with not knowing why this keeps happening!

@calimc83 I'm so sorry to see you back on this group. It just seems so incredibly unfair and sad. I've taken to drinking whilst away. I don't usually drink that much but feel it's totally warranted given the circumstances. Im counter balancing that by being the only one at the breakfast buffet eating just eggs and grapefruit whilst everyone else is having the best time eating fry ups and hash browns. Le sigh.

mummyofrb · 07/06/2022 14:42

@pangolin84 oh poor you I started spotting just before my appointment it was just a really small amount so they said I was still able to have the surgery as planned. It's such a confusing and awful time. You're in my thoughts🤍🤍

theblueflowers · 07/06/2022 14:54

@bunnykins123 thank you! Had bloods taken for prolactin, TSH and Thrombophilia screen. I'm not expecting any clear answers really, but it feels good to be proactive.

calimc83 · 07/06/2022 15:30

@Passenger87 it really does. Hope u are doing ok?
@bunnykins123 sad to be back but good to have everyone's support here 😘 I wouldn't say I'm a big drinker either but since my last MC I've had a fair amount of wine 🙈😫..it's needed at times for definite! Hope you're having a lovely holiday. I found being away definitely helped me x

Cdoc · 07/06/2022 19:11

Hi everyone

So sorry for all your losses and so hopeful there is some positive news on here soon.

I had medical management for a mmc (first pregnancy) 2 weeks ago today, at 9 weeks.

Felt so bittersweet to be so desperate to see a negative test.

My husband doesn’t want to put pressure on trying again and wants to just see what happens. I’m desperate to be pregnant again though so have secretly bought ovulation sticks and will be tracking myself. Just wondered if it’s common to ovulate between a loss and your first period? I know everyone will be different but would be interested to hear everyone’s experiences.

xx
