Does anyone how long sperm survive? I've been reading and it says 5 days just want to know if this is true? I dtd the night before (6 hours before) I got my peak on the clear level ovulation test. My partner has been away so we never got to dtd during my peak days.
Do you think there could still be a possibility of conceiving.
I had a erpc for a missed miscarriage in February and my periods seem like they have returned back to normal.

Any advice would be welcome please x

Sorry for your loss @Beautyangel1 as far as I’m aware, it all depends on the mans sperm. Some only last hours and some last up to 5 days. So there’s definitely a chance you could still catch 😃

Hey ladies hope you are all ok? So I'm on cycle day 29 and no sign of AF ( was due Sat) since my MMC in Nov my cycles have been pretty short ( 25 days or so). I tested Sunday and was BFN. Do I test tomorrow?? 😬...ive managed to hold off since Sunday. I just don't know if I can handle another negative test! I don't know exactly when I ovulated but guessing I'm roughly 12DPO today ...oh and crucially I also have covid so is it the covid delaying AF 😩🙈...argh x

Sorry @calimc83 I meant to reply earlier but when I had covid, it delayed my period (and was uber heavy) so it could be covid delaying it. It could also totally be that your pregnant and O'd later than expected. OR another thought - are you doing acupuncture still? It could be that it's extended your luteal phase as it's good for hormone regulation. I'd maybe leave it a couple more days and see where you're at 14dpo and maybe test then? It's a really hard one though - I have the 'POAS fear' so completely understand how awful it is seeing just that 1 line. Do you have any symptoms at all?

@bunnykins123 I know, could be one of 3 things 😆...I should have done my OPKs this cycle then at least I'd of known when I ovulated. I could be around 13 DPO today. Feeling a bit nauseous but often get that when I'm hungry so who knows. Managed to save a wee sample from before so might test...argh xx

@TheBirdintheCave I'm so so sorry, did you have another scan and get any news? My sister is also pregnant a week after I was so I'm really struggling with that, like you say because the dates are the same so every scan and update feels like an extra stab that it would have been me when I just want to move forward. Sending lots of love, this thread has helped me so much.

I swear the last couple of cycles during ovulation I haven't had much cm at all, and not noticeably ewcm either. Should I be concerned? I got my peak on Sunday and have just had cloudy/creamy since then and only if I go looking for it too 🙈 maybe I should look into trying preseed?

@Beautyangel1 my doctor (gyno specialist and research fellow) told me up to seven days...

@Sassy144 Thanks :) They confirmed the MMC yesterday morning and I took the meds to start things off in the afternoon. I had cramps and am now bleeding but it’s only a little. I’m worried it’s not worked correctly :/

@Tofu35 aww thanks! 😊 @Skl2021 not a clue how many DPO I am as didn't use the OPKs..I'm guessing 13 but could be well out? 🙈 might do my final Frer later 😬...hope I can graduate to the other thread! I have so many one steps so will defo test daily I think 😆 xx

@TheBirdintheCave Thank you 😊 I'm so sorry for your loss. I went down the medical management route. Did they give u tablets every few hours or was it just one dose? Mine took ages to kick in. I think a good 12 hours but they gave me tablets every few hours? X

@calimc83 I'm your cheerleader 🎉🎉 we have been together since the start! You have been there for me too 😘 would love for everyone on this group to get there bfp! This pregnancy I didn't bleed until 7 weeks and went straight to epu. But they wouldn't give me anything just a scan. I think nearly everyone else has been given it tho! Maybe I should of pushed harder! Alot of people got it through there gp so I would say maybe ask them? X

@Skl2021 you really are. It's been a long hard slog...😫 hoping all goes ok. Just trying to be realistic at this early stage but I'm all about positive thinking as well so think it'll be a fine line between those! 💯 agree - can't wait to see more BFP's..might give my GP a call this aft xx
