I'm glad others can see something! I've just taken this FRER as well - I think this could be a BFP starting 🙏🏻

@ElleBelleLou Ooh I see that one! :D I wonder if you're more than 8dpo. Do you know exactly when you ovulated?

ElleBelleLou · 06/05/2022 14:59

@TheBirdintheCave I'm confident I ovulated on the 27th or 28th as I was tracking my symptoms and had the telltale ovulation pain and cramps I always get! Then 2 days ago when I'd have been 6DPO I had cramps I think must have been implantation.

I really don't know Confused

TheBirdintheCave · 06/05/2022 15:01

Ah I see, so you could be 9dpo which would make more sense if you were getting faint lines yesterday too. Good luck! :)

LuckyMoonstone · 06/05/2022 19:03

CD14, no ov yet. Tests all negative, at any time of day. Getting sharp pains every day, throughout the day, in my ovary/uterus area. But I’m not ovulating, or menstruating, or implanting. Worried that there’s something wrong. I shouldn’t be feeling pains like that all the way through my cycle, however mild they are.
I have my smear test next Thursday. I’m hoping the nurse will ask me how I am so I can have a moan to her about everything. Maybe she’ll suggest something.

peachiekeen · 06/05/2022 21:43

@LuckyMoonstone it's my fourth cycle after mc and this is the first time I've ovulated back at my normal ish time. I'm CD 16 and have had a really strong OPK today. All my others have been around CD 20-22. Don't lose hope - you could still ovulate in the next few days. I've been getting all sorts of twinges and signs since my mc. I think my body is just a bit confused?

peachiekeen · 06/05/2022 21:44

@ElleBelleLou I can see that too! 🤩

How long did everyone leave it after a miscarriage to TTc again?
I am currently miscarrying and just wondering where to go from here

I waited 2 weeks. Currently 3 weeks after a miscarriage xx

AKM89 · 07/05/2022 09:38

@MelissaD10 so sorry for your loss, hope you have lots of supportive people around you. I’m in basically the same position as @My2boysaremyworld right now - 3 weeks post-miscarriage and started trying as soon as I hit my fertile period after the miscarriage. I was in two minds, but ultimately I decided that if I wasn’t trying I’d just be thinking about how I wasn’t trying. But everyone is different and I can definitely understand why people want to take some time away from the process being starting to try again.

AKM89 · 07/05/2022 09:39

To add to my previous post - I am now 3 dpo, no symptoms and obviously whilst I know it’s very very early, when I conceived last month I had already started to feel a bit strange by this point in my cycle, so definitely not feeling positive about this month.

MelissaD10 · 07/05/2022 09:40

So sorry for your loss 🙁
I’m kinda thinking to just keep going as if I just got my period x

MelissaD10 · 07/05/2022 09:43

Sorry that previous post was towards @My2boysaremyworld
@AKM89 so sorry for your loss and I totally understand why you tried straight away and I think we will. Keeping my fingers crossed for you for this month xx

AKM89 · 07/05/2022 09:46

Sorry can’t edit the above, being technologically incompetent today. But just to say I think we’ve all got to find our own ways of dealing with it the best we can. I can definitely see how viewing it kind of like a period might help - I have partly taken that view too.

😂 much like me 😂
couldn’t edit my reply to explain properly when your reply dropped in between me composing and posting 🙈
can I ask did you just start counting from your first day of miscarrying to work out ovulation or are you tracking in another way? X

AKM89 · 07/05/2022 10:07

@MelissaD10 glad it’s not just me!

I’ve been using the Clearblue digital ovulation tests - had used these in March as well when I got pregnant as we’d been trying for a few months without much luck. I bought the bigger box this month (20 sticks) and started testing a bit earlier as I thought the MC would probably mess with ovulation. I eventually ovulated around cycle day 19/20 - usually for me it’s around cycle day 15/16. I’d definitely recommend the digital, certainly post-miscarriage as it gives you some certainty (though I think the best way to tell if you have actually ovulated is checking your temperature).

LuckyMoonstone · 07/05/2022 12:29

@peachiekeen 4th cycle here too. If I don’t get pregnant this cycle then it’ll officially be the longest it’s took me to get pregnant. And I won’t be pregnant for my original due date either which will just make it even more depressing :(

Started straight away really, although no idea whether I actually ovulated since then…
This cycle (second ‘proper’ cycle post mc) I’ve been taking agnus castus in the hope that will kickstart ovulation again.
Those of you using cheapy OPKs (I use One Step) - if they’re positive, does it tend to show up immediately or take a while, as the negative ones do (I had entirely forgotten from last time how long it takes for the OPKs to clear properly!)

My2boysaremyworld · 08/05/2022 12:44

@curliegirlie did you wait for a negative result before trying again?

LuckyMoonstone · 08/05/2022 13:36

@curliegirlie opks take a lot longer to show their result than a pregnancy test, when you dip them in the urine you can see how slooowly it creeps up the stick as well. I always wait about ten mins so I can see the true strength of the line. Before that it’s still a bit too wet.

curliegirlie · 08/05/2022 13:45

@My2boysaremyworld not really, I’d stopped taking the pill when I found out I was pregnant and we had sex in the weeks following the MC when I was still getting positive HPTs….

@LuckyMoonstone thanks, I just wondered how quickly I could write off a particular test. Useful to know that positives also take an age!

peachiekeen · 08/05/2022 13:46

@LuckyMoonstone any sign of ovulation yet lovely?

LuckyMoonstone · 08/05/2022 14:03

@peachiekeen Ah thank you for asking, but not really :( did an OPK earlier and it was darker than it has been all week so I suppose that’s good but still nowhere near positive. And a blank circle on the clear blue! Don’t feel like this agnus castus is doing much other than making me feel sick every day. CD16 now, If this month is the same as last month then ov isn’t predicted until CD24/25…. I’d be over the moon to get it down to CD20/21 but I can’t see it happening.
Used my ovusense for the first time last night so I’m looking forward to seeing the data from that this month.

peachiekeen · 08/05/2022 14:42

@LuckyMoonstone I find the Premom app and the sticks that go with it super helpful as I can see the percentage basically (well it's in decimals) but I can see when I'm getting closer to ovulation and it usually happens really quickly after I get a slightly darker result. I'm sorry it hasn't happened yet. I wish the doctors would help with this sort of thing!
