Has anyone used this for increasing EWCM? Was thinking of trying some if it works as I don't get very much fertile CM! Does anyone know the recommended dose?

I used it and it worked well for me. I just bought what was epo capsules in the pharmacy. There was only one to pick where I was. Just remember to only use from period end up to ovulation day. After that I think it stops implantation working as well.

@madeleine85 glad it worked for you 😊 did you have any side effects? Have read a few things that say it can delay ovulation which I don't want to happen as I ovulate quite late anyway 🙈 might just try it for a month and see, nothing to lose!

@Bellesjp works brilliantly for me.
I only take 500mg a day... I think you can take much up to 3000mg a day. No side affects at all x

Mrslight · 26/03/2022 22:49

@madeleine85 ops, I was taking them from the first day of the cycle (I.e. during period) until ovulation, shof they not be taken during period?

madeleine85 · 26/03/2022 22:58

Hmm no idea about taking during period, can’t imagine it would harm though. I had a 20/21 day follicular phase,so also pretty long and it didn’t change it at all. Idk I’d say it’s worth a shot to try and see if it works for you

Thanks everyone, got some arriving from Amazon tomorrow to try :) I got the 1300mg ones which is the highest I could find, but been reading to take between 1500-3000mg a day! So maybe I take 2 of those?!

@Bellesjp you could always start with the lower dose and stick to that if you find it works? It's easy enough to up it if it didn't have the desired effect.

I took 2000mg a day during the follicular phase and found it really worked every cycle

Hi everyone, I've been taking the EPO now for 5 days, started on cd4 as that's when it arrived. AF had pretty much stopped then but since cd6 I've had really heavy spotting with some small clots (sorry tmi). Has anyone else had this since started evening primrose? Not sure if I should persevere or stop taking it, I don't want my chances to be ruined this month if I don't stop bleeding 😞

@Bellesjp if you've only been taking it cd4-cd9 I strongly doubt it's the EPO that's causing the spotting!

Bellesjp · 01/04/2022 17:50

@Juno231 yeah I'm not sure, it's just weird as I don't usually get this and it started when I started the epo, feel a bit crampy too like af is coming again but can't be 🤔 think I might not take tomorrow and see if it stops x
