13DPO and panicking?!

After my first month of TTC with much hope and excitement I am 13dpo...

And hoping I get a bfn.

I think I'm just suddenly panicking that this could be real?

Is this normal? Have I made a huge mistake??

Definitely normal! Infact me and dh decided to try last year, we had unprotected sex once and I took the morning after pill. We've not tried since. We aren't in the best place financially so we have put off ttc until I'm in a better job. But rest assured your feelings are totally normal. It's such a scary, mad feeling! I'm sure whatever happens you will be okay! X

Thank youu I'm so glad it's not just me. I feel stupid knowing this is what I've been wanting and now I feel the opposite. All I'm doing is wishing I had taken the MAP or it hadn't worked. I think because I have PCOS I thought it would take ages so it's really caught me out that it could have happened right away. I'm scared to take a test but I was having PMS cramps that have gone away (which never happens) and now I just feel tired, headachy and nauseous. Also feel guilty because it seems so ungrateful to not be happy when it's happened easily which I should be thankful for.

@pastatriangles I totally totally get you. It's a very weird, overwhelming feeling. I was like oh shit wtf have I done. I've made a big mistake. In retrospect, I'm sure I'd have been fine, but I did end up taking the MAP and I'm okay with the decision I made. Do you feel like you could take a test and see what happnens? I totally know how scary it is though. It's a big thing. Especially if you've put it off for a while. I'm 30 next year and we've been putting off trying for soooo long that when we do start I reckon I'll feel like you do now! You're not alone x
