Have I ovulated yet?

Hi guys,

Happy Friday to you all! Ttc cycle 1 and confused with OPKs. Would someone mind taking a look and letting me know if I've ovulated yet? Who knew trying to have a baby would involve so much ! Xxx

It does look to me like you did on the 23th.

I do sticks but also track temperature around the time I expect to ovulate just to double check. (Not doing it on a daily basis anymore)

I know! I'm on cycle 9 of trying and tempted to stop doing any of the opks etc. However, don't want to get my hopes up and it makes me feel bit more in control.

You are welcome! It can feel quite lonely. I talk to my husband to be but I don't think he understands me the same way women would.

I also bought fertility cup to give a go this months. I should be ovulating tomorrow so will let you know soon what happens (probably nothing as all previous months!!! )

How long have you been trying for?

Absolutely same here - my hubby to be has absolutely no idea what prep is going into this! This is our first cycle trying but feels like we've been waiting ages to actually try as had to get the all clear with thyroid issues, abnormal smear etc! Hope all goes well with you! Interested to know if the fertility Cup works for you too as I've heard good things about then xxx

@Bobduncan - will let you know at the end of next week if anything happens. fingers crossed but I don't have much hope anymore. went to see my GP this morning. all tests came back ok so they now want to see my husband. the only advise was to increase weight and take different pre-conception vitamins. 2 weeks until his initial appointment... time is not on my side! :(

I think it is better not to tell your partner too much. it's enough we are getting obsessed

hope all goes well for you given all the issues you had to overcome. it's hard for ttc not to take over your life but we need to try

@LoveGherkins best of luck to you and the hubby I hope his appointment with the gp goes well. How are you finding the pre conception vitamins? Personally I couldn't get along with the iron in the boots cheap vits, my stomach was so bad all the time I was taking them! I've switched to just a few individual vitamins now including folic acid of course xxx

My ovulation and period seems to have been delayed this month and just tested and again BFN. Having a little cry to myseld..

I tried SevenSeas which were good (it had iron as well) and also wellwomen (didn't like those as had lots of weird pains before period). I'm just taking Superdrug cheap ones now and also bit b complex which might have delayed my period.

My GP recommended taking SevenSeas. She also recommended gaining a bit of weight (even my BMI is prettyuch in the middle). Just awaiting DH to get his appointment and get his sperm done...

I so fed up with all this process. It's just heartbreaking I know I say this because of yet another BFN but it sucks..
