When af arrives? I'm feeling really down and want to treat myself to something but don't know what. What do you do/buy? How do you make yourself feel better?

Hi @lovemycat9
treat yourself to a lovely bath, a nice take away... a lazy night Infront of the tv with crisps/chocolate ❤️ and get planning for the next round. X

@lovemycat9 I also don't drink but I know others who buy a nice bottle of something and if AF arrives they drink it 😊

I don’t know as I’m getting tired of wine and I eat too much chocolate anyway with all the anxiety during my TWW. A nice bath after AF has gone away?

@BiscuitLover3678 you are eating all the chocolate I am eating all the crisps 😂

Don’t worry I make a move on them too

Definitely wine/chocolate for me. I also tried to focus on it being day 1 and putting the previous month behind me. Fresh start, new chance and all that. The first few hours I always felt a bit down, but after that I felt like things were better. Also found that trying something a bit different each month helped me to feel like I was "doing something". Good luck x

I also got really bad ovulation cramps in all the TTC months for some reason. Back pain, boob pain, stomach cramps, you name it, I likely had it. The irony being pre DD I didn't get as much as PMS. I actually ended up looking forward to either getting AF or BFP as it meant an end to the constant cramping and feeling crappy. Drawing a line under that experience each month definitely helped too.
