Hi,

So based on previous months, my fertile week is likely to be next week, with ovulation possibly between Thursday and Sunday.
The thing is it is my birthday next week, and I am renting a house for the weekend, with my fiancée and a big group of friends.

What are peoples thoughts on drinking over ovulation? Or whilst TTC?

We've been trying for a while now, and I have cut down, opting for just a glass or 2. But the weekend will include lots of meals out, and some of the girls want to go somewhere we can dress up and dance too. So if I don't drink it'll be very obvious! Especially as it is my birthday! But I'm not keen on people assuming I am pregnant if I'm not!

The general rule lots adopt is drink till it's pink @HelloDarla ... basically until you get a positive pregnancy test. Perhaps don't go wild, but this is an unpredictable process so you could be giving thing a up / cutting things out for a long time.

Thanks.

Yeah that's my thinking. This could be a long process, and I know it's only a few drinks, but I hate the idea of looking back and thinking I wish I'd just relaxed and enjoyed myself!!

Stupidly read something about how you shouldn't drink around ovulation as it can impact conception etc. It's tough, because I hate the idea of anything negatively impacting us, but also I just want to have a fun weekend!

Thanks again for your help.
