Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

Well ladies.. some light pink when I went to the bathroom :( done a sweep with my finger (TMI SORRY!) defo there, very sad but maybe next cycle will be my lucky cycle x

@MO22 have you tried myo insistol? I have like 90 day cycles and ovulate about 4 -6 times a year! At one point I thought I didn’t ovulate at all but ovusense confirmed I do, just maybe sporadically!

@RMS0209 that could be implantation! Do you usually spot around this point in your cycle? I have everything crossed for you! But atleast now you have ovusense so it’ll help you understand more! Good luck!

@Peonies94 @Moosh18 hi ladies! I dont think it would be? I didnt have it last time and im so sure last month I had this too... ugh weeeeh :( I just hope that if its AF she comes quick and I dont have 4 days of spotting again... not what I need! I just want my baby I don't ask for much Sad x

@RMS0209 I'm so sorry, I so hoped this would be your month! I know how you're feeling, it's hard, I have no words of wisdom but just a big virtual hug.

@Peonies94 yep been taking Myo insitol for months. Pre miscarriage I was on metaformin for PCOS for three years but I was advised to come off it when pregnant and... Now here we are. I'm thinking about going to see a gynaecologist privately but just the 30 min consultation is £180! As a one off fine but I bet then they'll refer me for tests etc so I don't think I can afford to spend £1000 to be told what I already know. It's just so shit.

@RMS0209 it's a day for it, I saw my acupuncturist and cried for 20 mins... (I've met her twice). A good use of £80 lol.

It does mean we might be cycle buddies, if so, here's to May... But lots of treats for you now, book yourself something nice for the next few days (and I've got my fingers crossed it's also an implantation bleed 👀)

hoping In the best way that spotting starts getting heavier soon as it was VERY light earlier on, haven't checked since... shut my eyes last time I had a toilet visit 😂

I am happy it's nearly the weekend, something to look forward to.
Me & OH will get some yummy food and have a nice walk planned with the dogs 🙂 what are you going to get up to? we are also doing some fun activity day with friends.

@Moosh18 it definitely helps to have something to try....
I'm going to stick with the Ovusense, DTD every 2nd day, vitamins , cosy socks & hot water bottle... any other suggestions welcome?! X

sorry to hear your having a rough time ladies! AF cleared so it’s back to it for me! Husband away a few nights so hoping thr static hangs off a few days and then comes pretty soon 🤞!

@Peonies94 hi! how are you doing? still not spotting onto anything yet but it's thicker and darker than yesterday so expecting spotting to start Fri/Sat then hopefully AF monday.

Delighted to hear AF has left, back to the testing woo hoo. How are you feeling all ok? Ovusense back to being used tonight? X

@RMS0209 started wearing it yes and OPKs started too! DTD regularly to start in a few days when DH returns!

Morning everyone!

Update from me - feeling pretty awful with covid and not sleeping well so I think it's affected my temps the last 2 nights. Not sure I believe the chart atm. OPKs are still pretty low and no other symptoms of ovulation yet...

I hate how it's one thing after another each month, feeling pretty deflated today 😔

Ugh covid is so bad isn't it... infuriates me when people say it's just like a cold.. I'm even more cautious now than I was before (still managed to catch it in Jan grr)
Please take it easy the next few days?
If your OPK's are low don't worry, also remember I got a false ovulation before my actual ovulation with my Ovusense because it was learning my body so don't panic to much.
Please don't feel deflated... we are all here for you Smile
I'm ok thanks, still little spotting when I wipe... never been so desperate for AF to start and just get onto next cycle Hmm x

@Loz365 aww! I had Covid in January! It sucked! And I definitely had a temp! I hope you are feeling better soon! Probably a good thing if ovulation holds off a few days till Covid passes! Give you your best chance!

Glad you can get started with this month! Hopefully it will be a more normal one this time!!

@RMS0209 I know what you mean, my temp used to always drop a few days before and I'd always just think right well I know I'm not can we just get on with this!!!! X

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining… I’m new to MN, I’m 32, TTC no1, cycle 4, PCOS and adenomyosis. IUD removed in 01/22 and since then cycles have been 29-40 days in length. OPKs haven’t worked for me - too many flashing smileys when I’m clearly not ovulating! So I bit the bullet and bought an OvuSense core this month. I thought it was going well; for the last 3/4 days I had temp increases and the green/blue shading indicating the fertile window. I was so excited and then this morning the shading disappeared and I’m back to ‘waiting to confirm ovulation’… I’m so confused and feeling so down now, any ideas as to why this would happen would be very appreciated! I had acupuncture yesterday - could this have impacted it? I look forward to following your OvuSense journeys!

Welcome! The ladies here have been a great help, this was my first month using my Ovusense.
I'm TTC no 1 also.

I can't shed much light on your question I'm afraid, I did however get a false ovulation for a few days when I first started using it so it could be the same for you? Just as it's learning how our bodies work x

Thanks @RMS0209 - I'm hoping it's just an anomaly and may go green again!

This process can be so frustrating, one step forwards and two steps back. We're going to try Letrozole from the next cycle - I was just hoping there may be a chance of something happening naturally.

Has anyone on this thread had a full fertility MOT? I'm tempted but feel like it may be too early x

Yea I'm hoping it's a false ovulation and will disappear tomorrow. Definitely don't feel up to DTD at the moment!! 😂

@Cous3003 Hi! And welcome! I've also got PCOS, been trying for 16 months and will be trying letrozole next cycle if this cycle is unsuccessful. It's so nice to find others going through this journey too! I've seen a few others on the OvuSense Facebook group saying they had their ovulation window appear then disappear then reappear again so I wouldn't worry too much. Your chart looks really good so I wonder if it'll appear again tomorrow? X

@Loz365 sorry to hear you're unwell - I imagine it makes charting a nightmare and the last thing you want to be doing! It will be great to share the letrozole experience though - I've heard good things about it for us PCOS ladies. Sorry if you've already mentioned this in the thread, will you be getting a scan? X

@Cous3003 thank you 😊 yep I think my chart for the last 2 days has been raised because of Covid 🙄

Yep, the infertility clinic want me to call up on day 1 of my next cycle and book in an ultrasound scan for day 11-14 to check that the letrozole is working and then day 21 progesterone to confirm I've ovulated. I'm glad the clinic are being so helpful but secretly praying I get pregnant this cycle 😂

@Loz365 yes I'm doing the same for the first cycle - I've been given 4 months' worth but hoping for a BFP before then! Do keep me posted with how it goes for you! X
