Ovulation test help

Hi everyone I took an ovulation test about 5 mins ago and it looks like theres a second line I'm currently on norethisterone to postpone my periods for travelling
I was just wondering is this positive I found it hard get good pic but I deffo think theres a faint line i took one this morning and there was no second line
Do this mean I'm coming up to ovulation
If it does I had sex on friday night could I get pregnant I would be happy of that happened lol

A positive ovulation test has a test line as dark or darker than the control line. A faint line could mean ovulation is coming, but you'd need to carry on testing to know, the day the line is as dark/darker is when you likely ovulate.

Hello @Lily189 an opk isn’t the same as a pregnancy test. It’s not positive just if there’s 2 lines. Infact some people always have two lines the whole way through their cycle. I do personally.

How you tell if it’s positive is the test line which is the line usually closest to the white end (where it says max) is the exact same colour or darker than the control line which is usually the line closest to the coloured part.

If it’s a plastic test and not strips it should have a T and C next to the windows to tell you which line is which.

Just having 2 lines doesn’t mean anything unfortunately.

If the second line is so faint that you have to squint it’s deffo negative and you could be a little while off ovulation yet so keep testing. Some peoples positives do just show up out of nowhere though so could suddenly get darker. Test twice a day once it starts showing up more to make sure you don’t miss the positive x
