Clear Blue Digital Ovulation Kit

Tell me about them. Did they work for you? Are they worth the money?

I've bought one after trying unsuccessfully for 3 months. Im thinking maybe i ovulate later than i think. The strips do my head in trying to interpret the lines. My first test was an empty circle, so low chance. How many days do you get the flashing smiley, before it turns into peak ovulation?

I guess you are using the "purple" clear blue advance ovulation test?
Don't use the slightly cheaper one from clear blue that's pink - I had nothing but fails with it.

I normally get 2/3 days of O
Then anything between 2/5 days of flashy
Then I get my static.. you'll soon get sick of the flashys but it's worth it just hold out it'll happen promise xx

I used the advance one, I had a chemical pregnancy in cycle one and was wanting to maximise chances after that, it was very helpful, I ovulated a couple of days later than expected, pregnant 4th cycle (now 16 weeks) and dates spot on with ovulation test.

Just make sure to do it as per instructions and when you get the static stop testing.

Oh, and be prepared to feel like the flashing smilies are laughing at you, seems like they take ages to change, even when it's just three days.

Yes they do work. My cycles were very long so it was quite costly but the three cycles I did it for correctly told me when I ovulated, going by when my period arrived afterwards. I didn't fall pregnant but that was not the monitors fault!!

But once I get my static smile eventually I don't test again.

@emma1103 also I have had 2 months of O then straight to static so just be prepared! This month was one of them

Its a flashing smiley tonight! Would you advise testing once or twice a day! I've read reviews saying different things x

I personally tend to do just once a day with first morning urine BUT I wouldn't want you to miss anything I know a few people who test twice a day once they get a flashy x

Get the cheapo LH tests on Amazon! Work just as well and really easy to use. No difference in quality - it's all the same chemical reaction showing.

And just do once a day but at the same time - first morning pee is best as the hormone is most concentrated so more likely to show up.

I have 6 days of flashing usually. First month was tortuous but used to that face now!

I use them at lunch time though. I saw a YouTube video from a doc saying not to use your first wee but who knows!

I'd save your self some money and just get cheapies. They are so easy to read and I find far better. I could start to see when the LH was rising in my system and knew ovulation was just about to happen, then I'd get a peak. I did do the 3 times a day but at the price you can. I'm now 12 weeks and 4 days.

Static smiley this morning! Will continue with cheap tests as well,and to me, the cheap test didn't look quite as dark as the control line. Regardless I'll be dtd every night, so fingers crossed x

Hey hun, 3 times a day testing? I want to try this. Can you remember what times or was it random times during the day? I really want to fall pregnant. I have purchased the cheapo ones. Really new to all this. Had a chemical preg back in January
