Tests getting fainter

I got a bfp on Tuesday evening (1) and the following morning the line got darker (2). I tool a test this morning and it's nearly gone (3) :( I also took some cheapies and can barely make out a 2nd line.

This is my first bfp since a MMC last year

I'm not a medical profession but unfortunately this looks very much like a chemical pregnancy. The only way to be sure is to get your HCG levels checked 48 hours apart to see if they are rising adequately for a viable pregnancy. Or just wait and see, at 6 weeks if you still have a faint positive have a private scan if the early pregnancy wront see you.

I had a chemical in November, very very very pale bleeding started 19dpo by 21dpo it was bright red. Lasted 10 days and I ovulated on time as usual. I tried again straight away and I'm currently 12 weeks +2 days pregnant. I fell pregnant again in the January.

These were my tests with my current pregnancy. I could tell very early on it was looking more positive than my chemical in November.

I went running last weekend so could that have contributed to this?

So ovulation will happen as per old cycle not when this bleeding starts?

I'm 36 hunny don't panic. Ovulation should happen as normal providing HCG has fallen below a certain number. My tests were negative pretty soon so I knew my ovulation strips would be accurate for that cycle. I started ovulation strips the day after bleeding stopped. Although I didn't fall pregnant that month I did the month after. Stay positive it will happen. At least you know your ovulating and can get pregnant.

With my chemical last year the same happened.. I had a faint line, followed by a darker faint line and then the following day it was a proper BFP. I was elated. The following days it was just totally negative 😔😔 I think my period was about 5 or 6 days late! When it arrived it was really heavy and painful. I hope you’re okay xx

Nothing you have done will have caused it, please don't worry. In the whole of the first 12 weeks there's almost nothing mum can do to accidentally cause a miscarriage, it's almost always a biological thing at the stage. Especially not going for a run xx

Sadly I tested this morning, one digital and both were negative :(

Sorry this is happening to you OP. The same happened to me in December. I got pregnant straight away and I am now 13 weeks :)

I bled about 24 hours after the first negative test appeared and it wasn't bad just like a normal period.

Hi @Conundrum12345. This happened to me in Jan. Positive FRERs that got lighter with each day. My period was two days later than normal. Sorry this has happened. X

Sorry this has happened OP. Please don’t be disheartened, chemicals are a lot more common then people realise and are only flagged up with these early tests.

It’s going in the positive direction, many women conceive again quite quickly too.
