Positive One step

Anyones experience with one step pregnancy test? Got positive today & then I went out got a frer & negative I dunno if it's because I literally had a wee a hour before or it's generally negative and one step are lying 😭

OneSteps are really rubbish for this. I had this before my current pregnancy. I tested one in tap water and that came back positive too within a few seconds.

I'm really sorry they're so sucky. We were TTC for 18 months and it's really not what you need.

@booJo24902 as PP has had a bad experience with this type of one step before it's difficult to be optimistic but I think you need to bare in mind you hadn't held for long at all & have probably taken in fluids which can make a massive difference early on, was the one step taken with FMU? The only way to know is do a long hold (at least 4 hours with no fluid) or to try again with FM/SMU tomorrow. Maybe also do what PP said & try a first step in water & see what you get, just in case it's a bad batch/brand? Wishing you all the best🤞🏼

I’ve had nasty indents / evap lines with one step tests which look like this but I hope it’s just too early for you and you get a BFP soon!
