Hi everyone

I was on the nexplanon implant which I got taken out August last year and went on the mini pill (I only took that for about 3 weeks before I decided to stop birth control all together) so since September last year I haven't been on birth control, 3 weeks after stopping birth control I got my withdrawal bleed (I researched this and it sais that a withdrawal bleed should happen up to 4 weeks after stopping birth control) so that was all normal. Ever since then I have had a 27-28 day cycle with ovulation on day 13-14. I use the Flo app and Clearblue digital ovulation tests and normal dye tests to Track ovulation, my period is 5 days and I will start ovulation tests on day 8-9, on the Clearblue tests I usually see high fertility (which is a flashing smiley face) on day 10 and then will see peak fertility (static smiley face) on day 13-14,the dye tests show a faint line until day 13-14 when they go dark, however my ovulation this month has been off,the last cycle in February was 27 days and so I started testing ovulation on day 8 (I got the flashing smiley on day 10) and then I didn't get a static smiley until day 17!) when usually I see peak on day 13-14 (the dye tests were faint until day 17 aswell when they went dark) , my next period now isn't due until next Saturday 26th March (that will be a 31 day cycle )

Also I usually get breast tenderness on day 20 and I haven't had that yet (it is day 23 of cycle today)

Also I am 25 years old

I'm really confused as to why this has happened when it has been fine and consistent until now🤷🏻‍♀️

HELP!! Xx

Hi Op. Honestly its perfectly normal to have the occasional cycle that is a few days longer. Its even fine to have a cycle that is a lot longer/a cycle where no ovulation happens, although if this happens regularly (as in my case) then it may be indicative of other issues.

Its good to see you have nice regular ovulation, and from that I would assume everything is working fine.

Thank you for your message 🙂 I'm hoping my next cycle is back to normal 🤞🏻
