Strong positive opk 7dpo

I ovulated on the 9th of this month, i'm currently 7dpo , took an ovulation test out of curiosity and it came back as a strong positive. Has anyone else had this happening before?

Either you didn't ovulate when you thought or its due to the rise in LH towards a period coming. If you're thinking it means you're pregnant, that is not the case

Not always the case, I have had a positive ovulation test before my period was due when I was pregnant and when I wasn't! They do say though if an LH test it's picking it up a pregnancy test would too

It could be you didn’t actually ovulate, so your body is trying again. If you aren’t getting positive pregnancy tests (which you would if you have positive opks), it’s most likely that or your period will show early

If your opk would pick up hcg, then a regular pregnancy test would pick it up as well. 7dpo is very early though, so I think you either have another rise because you didn't ovulate in the first "round", or you'r having a surge before your AF.

Yeah I think i didn't ovulate before, and ovulated now. The test line was stronger then the control line first on the 9th , but not as strong as it was today. 😊 Thank you 🥰
