Chemical or implantation?

Hi all just looking for some advice.

TTC #2 we had a MMC in December and periods came back four weeks later and have been regular.

I got a BFP yesterday on clear blue digital using DMU but had some spotting light cramping today (noticed around 6am) but no actual period as yet. I did another test around 10am today (but an hour after I last peed) and said not pregnant.

No cramping any much more bleeding.

Does this mean it's a chemical and period will be properly on its way soon? Or could it be implantation and the HCG was too diluted to detect?

Period was due yesterday/today.

Thanks all x

Sorry so many typos! Meant to say 'and not much more bleeding' - it's light brown

I think all you can do at the moment is wait until tomorrow morning and do another test using FMU. I know waiting is easier said than done, I had a chemical a few years back so completely sympathise with all the thoughts in your head at the moment. I have everything crossed that you get another BFP tomorrow Thanks

It's impossible to say which is awful to have to deal with I know but no one can be sure. I had a MC and a chemical last year. My chemical the test was only very faint positive and bleeding came on very quickly but the MC I spotted for nearly a week before bleeding. I truly hope that your pregnancy is successful but it's simply too early to tell. My advice is to try and find distractions and just keep busy for a few days and wait it out. 🤞

Thank you so much @freshstart2022 and @SGChome20 - think I'll sit tight and rest again tomorrow and wait to see if we get any more bleeding Sad

I hope you received your BFP this morning 🤞
