2 weeks late now. Taken 2 sainsburys blue dye tests so i know evap lines and fake positives are a thing

This is negative right? Both tests have a thin blue line to the left and not centre

Yes, I would say evap. Those tests are awful for them.
I think being 2 weeks late it would be very clearly positive. Do you track your cycle?

@VenusStarr im not actively trying so not keeping an eye but definitely experiencing what could be symptons. I had covid recently so maybe its just thrown my period off

They are awful for evaps but if the colour came up straight away I'd get a different test and try again to see

These were all on the same day for me and your test looks similar

You need to get a pink dye test or a digital one.

The blue + tests aren’t great.

Covid could have absolutely thrown your cycle out, it did for me and the vaccines did too.

Yes sorry they look like evaps to me. I’ve had the same on a couple of Tesco own brand. They were so blue I couldn’t believe it, but they were thin lines and off centre like yours. If your period is two weeks late I’d expect a strong clear positive.

@fancyfrogs thats crazy! How far along was you when you got that positive? Im literally holding my test against your pic to compare and they are identical. You are making me doubt it now i was 99.9 percent sure there was no way I could be pregnant.

I told dm who said she noticed my hips have got bigger and wasnt reassured at all by my evap line explanation. Dp has also said the same thing about my hips. My jean button broke off the other day too i did notice the weight gain but put it down to getting over covid and finally eating better.

Off to get a pink test will update later. Not really sure how to feel about this as have a 1 yr old dc

I was only about 4/5 weeks I think so would probably expect it darker if you're 2 weeks late but no idea, you could have ovulated late or something and might not be as far along as you thought. I've seen tests like mine that were negative and some that were positive, they're so unreliable! But covid definitely seems to be messing with some peoples cycles so hopefully you'll get an definite answer with another test

That is another valid point the line would be much darker.

There is no way its a .positive

This was my evap line on a similar test! But it doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant, hopefully a different test will give you answers, a digital should show accurately by now.

If it’s positive, its really early. If you’re two weeks late then you’re 6 weeks pregnant by which time a test would be really strong.

I'd say that was positive to be honest. Maybe you ovulated late this month?
