Why is the advice out there to not drink or wee for 3 hours prior to an OPK? What's the science behind it?
I'm struggling to understand why you would want to concentrate the LH in your urine. Wouldn't that give a false positive?
This is how I look at it: If the LH levels are low then they are low. By concentrating LH by not drinking I'm creating a false impression of the concentration.
If I don't wee then I'm just collecting more and more urine on my bladder, there's a bigger volume but what impact is that having on OPK concentration?
I find it really uncomfortable not to drink or wee for hours.
