Cervix reliable indicator???

Hi all, I am reaching end of my 2ww, period due today. I had some twinges around 6dpo and thought was possible implantation. Also had a few bouts of nausea. However my cervix feels very firm which I know is basically a BFN without the test.

Has anybody had a hard cervix and got a positive? Mine feels pretty much the same throughout my whole cycle?

I know i could just do a test or wait a few days and probably get my my period but its sooo ennoying waiting to find out isnt it.

did AF show up? I'm an avid cervix checker. AF due today and it's very firm. BFN yesterday 🙈

I did. I had lots of symptoms so checked my cervix and it was definitely hard so I thought I wouldn’t be pregnant, but tested the following morning and got my BFP. I don’t think I’ll bother checking if I ever try for another.

@Genevieve99 I need to stay away from mine! 😬 that's interesting to know though..was it low as well?

I checked my cervix too and thought I was wasn't pregnant. Turned out I was. It didn't go obviously softer and higher until I was several more weeks pregnant. Even then, earlier on, it seemed to move down and go harder occasionally.

Yeah I’m also part of the cervix isn’t a reliable indicator group. Mine was low, still is, and I’m 17 weeks pregnant now. It felt softer (I thought) but I couldn’t really tell any difference.

@calimc83 haha! Yes it was low, I can’t say if/ when it went higher and softer because I never bothered to check it again after I got my bfp 🙂

I looked back on my apps from when I got a BFP with DS2 and all TWW had a low firm closed cervix….

This TWW my cervix was high and soft, now low and super swollen, it’s 3rd baby so not sure how accurate a cervix check can be when you’ve had babies before

Jumping on the thread. I have felt weird little niggles in the right side since 4dpo (providing my app is correct as my periods vary 22-25 days) I’m wretching at random things. This is my first time at this. Felt cervix for a few days it’s just up and down like a yoyo one min soft the next it’s a bit tougher. Been a weird clear wet feel to it. The days are just dragging because I just wanna constantly test 😂
