Thrush while TTC...please help!

I have had symptoms similar to thrush since Thursday but wasn't sure and haven't been able to see a GP yet. I did manage to talk to a GP from a sexual health clinic over the phone and they think it is thrush from what I described and said to start treating it while I wait to see my GP tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm just wondering if I'm right in thinking I'm definitely out this cycle. We did ttc on Friday but I haven't ovulated yet and am due to in the next few days. I'm not very hopeful and really upset to miss another cycle as this will be 2/3 missed (first time got a UTI, again right around ovulation time). Any hope or do I have to just suck it up and wait?

I got prescribed thrush treatment and got told to take it on the day AF came to ensure I was not pregnant as some treatments are contraindicated during pregnancy. From what I read thrush doesn't decrease your chances of getting pregnant but others things such as bacterial vaginosis can. I'm not a doctor though so wait to see what your GP says.

Thanks, @PeanuttyButter! I got prescribed the pessary and pharmacist also recommended the cream to go with it, both of which are safe while ttc or in pregnancy. It must not be too bad in my case because it seemed to be getting better on its own and GP didn't even think I had thrush by the time I got an appointment but then the swabs confirmed it. I guess the upside is we did dtd during ovulation since GP didn't think I had it, so now just left to treat it and hope it doesn't come back. Never had it before so just not sure what to expect!
