Hey.
I have finally begun trying to conceive & part of me believed that when I had my implant removed, I would become pregnant instantly. Unfortunately, like with most peoples journey, that is not the case. I had my implant removed on the 21st jan. Then began a heavy, four day bleed on the 28th Jan. then on the 12th feb, I started another four day bleed. I assumed these were periods, despite how close they were together. However since my last period, ending on the 15th February, I haven't had another one. I've been desperately tracking my symptoms for possible signs of pregnancy as well as taking test after test after test. (I did have an evap line on clear blue, which broke my heart when I found out it was actually a BFN). I am so nervous that the implant has permanently destroyed my body and that I might never have a normal cycle again. I've began feeling my cervix and it always feels low and firm :( I'm showing no signs of ovulation and my period has just disappeared!! The doctors haven't been very helpful and gave no indication of when my cycles will be back on track.
My friend who came off contraception the same week as me, has just announced her pregnancy. And although I am absolutely ecstatic for her, I can't help but feel a little jealous and question why I haven't been able to do the same :(
Does anyone have any advice for someone ttc who has a messed up cycle due to nexplanon
