Ovulation/ temp

Hello,
I have been ttc for a few months now.
I have used the clear blue opks for the past 2 months. I’ve been taking my temp regularly in the morning too. Just a quick one - when people have conceived have they found it was just before they got their + opk, during or after?? Thanks x

Hi sorry not going to be a lot of help here-
I was using same tests and they were stressing me out. I went solely on my temperature and when I was feeling more in the mood. We tried every few days and thankfully it worked for us so I wouldn’t be able to comment on the test part.
I would say that sperm can survive for a few days so shouldn’t matter too much if you are doing it just before your peak day.

I know I think it’s taking the fun out of it to be honest 🥴 I also think that my bbt thermometer isn’t accurate as it’s taking ages to register a result and I’m getting fed up of waiting for it to beep on the morning! How long did it take you? 💖

We were ttc for over a year. My husband said he felt it was becoming more of a chore and less romantic when I was relying on the kits etc
I gave it up and we were pregnant within 2 months. It might all be a coincidence but I just felt more relaxed, we arranged a few date nights and just tried to have fun again instead of making it all about ttc

You will have the most success by DTD the day before (even two days before) or day of a positive opk/ temperature drop.

I think the dye opk tests (easy@home) are actually both cheaper and better because you can see the progression of luteinising hormone.
