Problems after TTC

I'm so frustrated with ttc right now. This is cycle 3 and I keep seeming to be getting issues while ttc. First cycle I got a UTI. Second cycle okay but I was very careful and went wee and showered straight away. This cycle I noticed I'm feeling sore on the outside ladybits (sorry if TMI). Usually it would be inside because of dryness but that's fine and using preseed for lube. Been sore all day today even though we were gentle and did a quickie to keep things short since I was tired. I don't know if I'm getting some infection or something as had some liquid bubble out today but that could well be semen or preseed from last night that just took it's time to come out. Just feeling so frustrated like my body can't keep up and worried I'm going to miss my peak day due to some stupid infection. Going to see GP on Monday so mainly just venting since I can't do anything else right now.

Anyone? I tried going to the walk-in today to rule out infection but they said I had to wait to see my GP on Monday. It's been forever since I've done CM tracking as I've only been relying on my CBFM this time while ttc but checking today it all seemed pretty normal for this time in my cycle and no smells at all. But I still feel sore like a chaffing feeling even when I'm not moving so dunno. I'm really close to ov and I don't want to miss this cycle because next month we'll be staying with family during ov time so can't really ttc then.

@Redstar2015 that sounds like it’s been really hard for you. I do hope you get answers about the soreness, could it be some kind of ph imbalance?
It’s funny how bodies seem to work against us when we need them. Maybe it would be good to take some time to relax and try to focus on feeling healthy. Are you in a hurry/against the clock to conceive?

Also how does preseed work? I’m considering using it.

@Cally1980, I find preseed is great as a sperm-friendly lube. Yes, I do feel a bit of pressure as I'm turning 35 soon and dh is already in his 40s. It's possible it's a ph imbalance--I hadn't thought of that. I was taking more baths recently so that could be the culprit. I've cut them out but too soon to tell if there's a difference. I think mainly it's the terrible timing of these issues. None of them are a big deal, but then when they happen right at the fertile window and knock out a cycle potentially it's very frustrating. I already put off ttc for over a year from what we had planned due to covid so it does feel like a very long time already even though it's still technically early days with only being in cycle 3.

@Cally1980, Just realized I didn't say how pre-seed actually works. Lol! It's just like a regular lube. It has tubes you can use to insert in your vagina up near the cervix. You can put it in up to 10 minutes before having sex. I also sometimes just dab a bit on with my finger if I don't need a lot.

@Redstar2015 thanks! I’ll give it a try. I’m 41 and just started ttc first child so I feel you on the frustrations about losing time!
