TTC Number 2 and plus size

Hi all just looking to see if any other ladies are in my position I'm 35 birthday was Jan I'm also a bigger lady size 22/24 I've already lost nearly 2 stone so far so between my age and being bigger built I've convinced myself I will struggle ttc anyone else a larger lady tia xx

I’m size 16/18 and TTC #2. I know I should lose some weight but it’s hard. I reassure myself I was slightly heavier when I conceived my DS. Good luck!

Hello @CCPink15 I’ll join you! I’m a similar dress size to you and BMI is not great! I also have lost some!

I lost about 4 stone prior to conceiving my first and fell pregnant first time! I was in a lot better shape!

I’m certainly not now! I’m eating healthily and during ttc! I actually never gained a pound In my last pregnancy as I couldn’t eat! It was just after I gained it all!

That been said it’s fair to say it is on my mind! Including after been pregnant and the scans etc! A lot more of my weight is on my tummy so I’m worried you won’t be able to see anything.

This is my second cycle ttc number 2 and currently in the 2WW! How long have you been trying?

@ANP2020 I know I've lost loads of weight over the years end up always putting it back on I've started taking vitamins and supplements to and ordered ovulation tests etc this is first cycle ttc #2 how old are you If you don't mind me asking I'm 35 sending love and baby dust xx

@CCPink15 I know the feeling! I’ve decided I’m destined to fluctuate! Plus it’s all in a different place since I had my little boy who is now 4 so not sure I can use this excuse?

I used ovulation sticks this month so 🤞🤞 they’ve helped! I’m 33 but 34 in April!

I do know they let you doing slimming world when pregnant, but I’m just going to use my fitness pal I think!

@ANP2020 yeah I'm calorie counting and will continue to do so during pregnancy sticking to 1700 cals and would increase calories as trimesters change although with my DS he's 12 I was so sick I lost 2 stone during pregnancy he was 8 lbs 12.5 so big boy my DP doesn't have any kids although he treats my DS as his own x

@ANP2020 I’m the same age, also 34 in April! Definitely a worry for me with the scans, I hated that they couldn’t see much with my first. Although we’ve been trying for six months now so I’d be happy to just be pregnant!

@Charl881 did you have any private scans?? We had an early one and gender one and found them to be much better quality so might try that again when I’m pregnant! 🤞🤞🤞 this is your cycle x

@ANP2020 I didn't have any private scans with my DS but it was 12 years ago a lot has changed I defo will this time x

Oh really that’s interesting! I had a private scan at 8 weeks and was really pleased they were able to see something, I wonder if that would have been the case with NHS.

Yeah I found they were much clearer! Probably just more up to date equipment!

@ANP2020 I'm going to do the 4d scan this time around and we want to find out the gender I didn't with my DS x
