Clearblue not moving from 1-2

Hi guys. I’m 4+5 and did a clearblue digital 6 days ago (Friday afternoon) which said pregnant 1-2. Just did another just now (Thursday afternoon) and it still says pregnant 1-2. Surely I should’ve moved up to 2-3? I’m freaking out.

Also should mention I conceived 20th March couldn't have been any other day, and that was 2.5 weeks ago?

Try not to overthink. Just test again in a few days, could just be a slow progression, or, it could also mean a miscarriage is on its way.

MissMaple82 · 10/03/2022 17:28

Or, it could be that you was only 1 week at the time, and now your only 2 weeks. No way of telling. Leave it 3/4 days then test again

MissMaple82 · 10/03/2022 17:29

There's literally no way of knowing what exact day you conceived

Atoshiexx · 10/03/2022 17:41

It's just the 20th March was the only time I'd had unprotected sex so that's why I thought it was the only time I conceived?? Xx

Sperm can stay alive for up to 5 days, conception doesn’t necessarily happen instantly. So if you’ve ovulated a few days later, conception could have happened then and it will all be a little later. I was completely obsessed with this, and read lots about how inaccurate they are. They’re not a tool to be used to determine the viability of a pregnancy really. For what it’s worth, with both my pregnancies I didn’t see progression in the digitals “when you’d expect”, they were a little later than the guides. First pregnancy was fine, second has just ended in a missed miscarriage. So they can’t tell you lots about the pregnancy itself xxx

@Atoshiexx my friend did a clear blue before she missed her period it said 3+ absolutely impossible they aren't 100% accurate

Hmum0fthree · 10/03/2022 18:22

@Atoshiexx also sperm can live for 5 days, you might not have ovulated until a few days after you DTD then can take over 6 days for the egg to implant which is then when your body will start to create the hormone hcg, when was your last period?

Atoshiexx · 10/03/2022 19:10

@Hmum0fthree last period started 5th Feb xx

I remember googling frantically about clearblue tests. The conclusion I came to was that the weeks indicator is unreliable for a variety of reasons.

You have all made me feel so much more at ease which isn't easy when I have such bad anxiety! Will keep you posted and thank you!!! Xxxx
