Strange one.. how long for CB weeks reduce :(

Quick recap... 35, first time of natrual conception (previously had IVF leading to miscarriage 💔)

Got my 3+ on CB digi on 27th Feb. But started to spot pinky 3 days after, it was on and off until Sunday. Then much heavier, red in colour with some red clots (I would of been 6+1 on Sunday) Assumed the worst, my second MC..☹️ Bleeding sort of slowed down, lightened yesterday. Today has pretty much stopped other than pinky on wiping.

Did a CB digi 2days ago, still 3+ weeks and today is still 3+ weeks... I thought HCG reduced a lot faster when MC occurs? I also (I know you shouldn't) but took appart my clear blue tests and they don't seem to have faded?! I'll attach a pic just for those interested though I have no idea what the lines mean (top 2 days ago, bottom just now)

ANYONE BEEN HERE? Is the reducing of HCG just a lot slower? Any advice or knowledge welcome...

:( so sorry to hear this. After my surgical miscarriage it took nearly 2 months for pregnancy tests to go negative again. With my 2nd mc, it was a natural MC and I just waited for my period to come again and started using OPKs, I didn't keep a tract of the HCG going down though so I don't know. I think it does go down slower than up.

Have you been to EPU at all? Do you think you have passed everything? It can be dangerous for anything to be left up there

@irishfarmer thanks for replying. It's hard to tell if it's all passed so to speak. Last time I seem to remember seeing tissue etc but this time it's only really been red blood and clots. I did have a scan booked to yesterday but bailed as I was just too upset and with the bleeding did want to

But yes the EPU have told me to test in 4 days and they will call me to talk about everything 😔

That is understandable to be too upset. With my 2nd MC I though it had all passed as there was a lot of material in the bleeding. But it hadn't, they did leave it another 2 weeks, I got another heavy bleed and the scan showed it all passed so I didn't have a second d&c. I think it will be important to get a scan to be sure.

I'm so sorry OP, it's all so shit isn't it?
I hope the same isn't true for you, but I had strong positives after my miscarriage for a few weeks.
