Help!!! Positive Ovulation Test

So took an ovulation test today as I have lots of CM however my period is due tomorrow!

Ovulation test has come back a strong positive just done a pregnancy test which is negative.

Up until this point this month I haven't had my usual CM that I get until this point. Could it just be I've ovulated late?

Help!

That is confusing. I'd DTD tonight. Then wait for a missed period and do another pregnancy test

It's common to have an LH spike just before your period so don't put too much stock in it, but if you have irregular periods then of course you could have ovulated late.

Hmmm I am semi irregular and cycle tends to be upwards of 40 days (always has been)

Looks very strong alright, 1st time is test right, 2nd control? I really don't know. My only suggestion would have been pregnancy test but you've done that

@irishfarmer hmm might do another test later on. It's my first month of doing these so maybe this is normal for me haha!

You could have ovulated late in your cycle 🙂

If your period doesn't come tomorrow, test again.

I may be wrong but I think you get an LH surge just before AF. Also a positive opk can be seen when a pregnancy test is positive. Fingers crossed either way xx

Yes, some women get an LH surge just before AF arrives. Opk can pick up hcg, but by then a normal pregnancy test would be able to do so as well. Fingers crossed either way!

I'm 7dpo and had a very strong positive on ovulation test. I'm so confused , i'm not ovulating twice a month😅
