Disappearing line !!! So confused

I think I’m 9/10dpo

Did a frer today , immediately a v v faint second line came up!
It was there for 5 mins at least. I left the test upstairs went to do a few things and then about half an hour later looked at it again and it was gone ???

Now I don’t know what to think!

Also the frer packaging - I’ve had different boxes lately ? Have they changed the packaging or are some fake ?? Wondering if I’ve been unlucky and not used a genuine one 😞

@Testingconfusion FRER re-branded their packaging about 6 months ago so the outer box does look a bit different. If you are only 9 or 10 dpo, this is pretty early and you might not get a decent line until around 12dpo.

Sometimes, the dye can track up the test to give a vvfl but if you're very early, the control line can pull the dye which is why your line may have disappeared.

The earliest I ever got a line on a FRER was 11dpo. Leave it 2 days and test again. Good luck!

It must be that then as I’ve had 2 diff type of packaging from Amazon and then boots and Superdrug sent the same (?newer)

That would make sense the control line was much darker when the v v f line has disappeared , but it came up immediately and lasted 5 mins……

I think I’ll test again at the end of week as af due on Saturday
