Hey everyone. It’s looking like we’ll be trying an IUI. We had an early loss last year and haven’t fallen pregnant again since, all of our tests are coming back good but still not happening. We are in our late 20s.
I’ve been put on letrozole 2.5mg and beginning the IUI process when ovulating.
Plleeeeease share success stories ⬇️ We don’t have the money for ivf so really hoping this works 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi! I'm 31, have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own very often, my husband's tests are really good.
I had a cycle of 5mg Letrazole and IUI a couple of weeks ago (fourth cycle of Letrazole and first of IUI). I was quite sceptical to be honest (going through the NHS and they felt IUI was worth a try before IVF) but got my BFP on Saturday!
Will you be having monitoring scans throughout and progesterone supplements post IUI? I think both those things made a big difference for me.

I start the monitoring scans on Friday (I’m in Australia) but I’m not sure about progesterone afterwards, from previous draws I believe my progesterone levels are pretty good. I do ovulate on my own but I’m really, really hoping that it’s just an extra little helping hand that we need to conceive again 🤞🏼 I know the success rates for IUI aren’t fantastic though but any bit of hope at all is brilliant!

No problem! Yes, the success rates for IUI are not that much higher than natural conception, so it's maybe worth going into it thinking it may take a couple of cycles at least! But I did find it reassuring knowing that everything was timed perfectly for conception and if it didn't work it was purely down to luck. All the best!

It worked for me! 16 month old DS currently asleep in his cot. Sorry to hear about your loss op. I'm hoping IUI works for you x

@IsabelHerna I’m not sure how much IVF is but the IUI cycle will cost me $1460 but I believe every clinic has differing prices for that!
