I'm on CD 1, Cycle 11 of TTC our first 👶🏼
Had a MC in February
Ectopic last July with right tube removal
I have endometriosis (and I suspect low progesterone)

Trying to stay positive and think fresh cycle, my body probably needed this after the MC and its a fresh start ✨

@RSmamaa I'm so glad to have someone in the same boat! My AF arrived on CD37 last month when my cycles are usually 31ish days despite ovulating late. It's a minefield! I've ordered some B6 vitamins to see if that helps 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi, I’m sorry to jump on a thread that’s deep in! I’m looking for some advice! TTC #2
After DS I went onto the DEPO injection so was on it for 10-12 months, came off it in December. Have NOT had a period yet. (Been on depo years before previously, periods previously have always come back within days/weeks later once stopping the DEPO).

With no periods obviously I cannot track my cycle. Not sure if I’m ovulating either. Previous years I’ve always ‘felt’ ovulation.

Anyway my question is, is there anything I can do to try and track my cycles? Other than ovulation tests??

@Chloo22 I was in a similar position! Had my last depo in June 2021, was due Sept but didn't get it and my period didn't return until January! Had a completely normal one January then a terrible, late and long one February. The depo has completely messed with my cycles 🥲 I was like you in Jan wanting to track, had to just use OPK every day x

I had this following depo about a year or 2 back. Ended up having bloods and scans etc as was 6 months til I got a period and they were really heavy and long. They then said I had PCOS (had cysts on ovaries, but bloods normal) which I've never had any symptom history of (and conceived my first on first cycle she's nearly 4). Was also convinced I wasn't ovulating, as like you before I could always tell.

Now started TTC #2 and had a very weird cycle and still feel a bit weird since, not sure if hormones/PTSD are playing tricks on me or if it's coz I'm older, or all the strange things the depo done to my cycle, or all of the above. Who knows.

@sherbetmelon yes same here. Always about 30-32 days! Are B6 vits proven to help?

Thank you ladies for your words! It is so very weird my whole body seems to have been out of sorts. I’ve had cramping over the last few days and was hoping it was signs of a period or something but still nothing yet. It’s been 3 months since stopping the depo. - only just started having unprotected sex with the decision of TTC only last week.

Feel like I don’t know where to start! Might have to just like you said Ov test everyday!
My Son who is 2 in June unfortunately conceived earlier than expected so didn’t really track anything!!

Thought my last cycle may have been the lucky one but it appears not I had a bleed from the 10th - 13th March, finished sooner than I expected though.

CD5 today, going to just see how things go this cycle and not obsess over it too much.

@allthingssparkly are your periods usually that short? If it was lighter and shorter I would be tempted to think that was an implantation bleed. Altthough if not, it's exciting trying again! Baby dust

They are usually 5 days @RSmamaa so this one was a little shorter than usual, yesterday it was just brown when wiping almost like old blood? Nothing noticed on a pad either.

@allthingssparkly I think you should take a cheap test it sounds like implantation bleeding. Could be your period but if you are TTC it's worth a shot right?!

I will order some 😊 I ovulated on the 25th February which would be 3 weeks ago this Friday and my last period before this one was 3rd-7th February.

I do feel more tired than usual whether that's a sign I don't know but I've been in bed since 6pm feel like I could sleep for a week 🙈

I got two positive OPK's on both mornings of the 23rd and 24th February, so taking the 25th as my ovulation day @RSmamaa 😊

Ooh ok. I think the bleed may have been too late for implantation then.

My bleed that I've just had basically started two weeks after my 2nd positive OPK.

Just going to go with the flow this cycle 🤞

Hey so I'm CD 11 today and I woke up and had some kind of sharp pain on my right side, really low down? I've never had this before. Has anyone else?

I think I'm maybe nearing ov. I'm still breastfeeding and before my loss in Dec I used to get really sore nipples around my fw. This is the first time it's been like that since before then. So maybe this is the first time ovulating since?! Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi @Chloo22 Have you heard of/looked into Lady's Mantle?

I had a MMC in Nov and didn't ovulate until end of Feb and just finished my 1st period.I used Lady's Mantle for a week in early/mid Feb when I was getting really down about not cycling and within 10 days had signs of ovulation backed up by positive OPKs.

I tend to take Lady's Mantle to help manage the first 2 days of my period as it helps stems bleeding but I've read that it is also good for bringing on periods and supporting cycle regularity.

Not sure if it will be THE solution, but if you're looking to help balance out your hormones and bring on a period, it may help. It worked for me (I think) so perhaps look it up and see if it may help you 😊 Xx

Joining from the March thread, this will be my 5th cycle ttc, I have one ds 18 months. I stopped tracking my ovulation last few month but I’ve ordered the clear blue tests which I’ve not tried before and a ferti Lilly cup.

I’m on CD9 at the moment. I’m giving opks a miss this month.
If we manage to conceive this cycle, baby due date would be 17th Dec! 😄
We’d love a Christmas baby.

Only managed to DTD on CD 11 and 13 and I have tested positive for Covid today so think I'm probably out this month.

Morning @MangoLipstick I'm CD8 today so just one day behind you! I wasn't going to bother opk testing this cycle either, just wanted to go with the flow but I ovulated towards the end of my cycle in February which was my first month tracking so I don't know whether to just risk it and not bother opk testing this cycle or track again to see whether it is that I normally ovulate towards the end of my cycle 😬

I think opks are very useful if your periods are irregular or you don’t know 100% when you ovulate. I ovulated day 21 last cycle, 2 days later then I thought. ( I had a MMC in Jan, so wanted to track as know cycles can get messed up)
I just want to give them a miss this month as found myself testing 2 or 3 times a day, it felt abit rigid and a tad stressful.

Do you get any ovulation signs?

Morning all! CD7 here and AF has finally buggered off. Plan is to alternate between DTD and AI every day from CD10 to CD17 to cover all bases as my cycle seems to be all over the place at the moment.

It's nice to catch up, MN has been very buggy for me the last couple of days. Good luck ladies 🍀✨
