Making a new thread from the March group ♥️

I'm on CD 1, Cycle 11 of TTC our first 👶🏼
Had a MC in February
Ectopic last July with right tube removal
I have endometriosis (and I suspect low progesterone)

Trying to stay positive and think fresh cycle, my body probably needed this after the MC and its a fresh start ✨

Baby dust ✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨

Morning all!

CD3 for me @FreckledMouse I’m keeping everything crossed for us all this cycle.

@alwaysseeingstars
When we got bfp with dd, we only managed 3 times in fertile wk. Dh was away with work for 2 days (over ov!) so we dtd the night before & in the morning before he set off! I was sure we were out. You are still in for a chance!

alwaysseeingstars · 11/03/2022 09:33

@FreckledMouse and @MangoLipstick - thank you both for the optimism! Might have to try again tonight as a just in case Smile
Fingers crossed for both of you!! 🤞🏼♥️

Hi everyone, hope it's okay to jump on this thread. I'm coming over from the March thread as I'm now officially out this month as AF has arrived today, 2 days early 😭 lots of baby dust and hope to everyone for lots of BFPs in April xx

Diamondbabe · 11/03/2022 10:06

@Lifeafterloss22 I conceived my son when I was exercising a lot and I'm pregnant again and just carried on as normal. I think if it's your norm it's absolutely fine. To be honest I'm a bit believer that exercise is so good for your body and kind it's a positive thing. I was at the gym until I was 38 weeks pregnant and only stopped because they locked them down. The morning I gave birth I did joe wicks lol and I'm no professional athlete lol I just feel so much better when I do. Like you say you can't put your life on hold every month, that's why I still drunk ha ha.

Decaffe · 11/03/2022 12:50

Hi folks! Coming over from the March thread. AF threatening an appearance any day now.

There is a chance we will have to skip TTC altogether this cycle as I will be having a HSG (due to the X-ray), but I should get confirmation of this from the hospital next week.

If we are able to TTC this month, then I am considering investing in a Fertiliy! I also think we might be stopping DTD too early so I will make sure we DTD on ovulation day and the day after. So those are the changes I’ll be making this month, or next month if it comes to it.

Let’s hope it’s a lucky thread! 🍀

Lifeafterloss22 · 11/03/2022 14:07

@Diamondbabe this is really reassuring to hear! I am very similar to you, no athlete but I feel so much better in myself for keeping fit. Love the joe wickes story on day of birth hahah! X

Climbingthelaundrymountain · 11/03/2022 14:07

Hi, CD8 of cycle 2 TTC #4. Last cycle was longer than usual. I love the idea of a December baby, hopefully it happens for us!

Nyxxie · 11/03/2022 14:11

CD8 here, thinking about starting OPKs again tomorrow

Diamondbabe · 11/03/2022 14:22

Not sure if this helps anyone but if it does then it's worth it. This is what I did and got pregnant.

I use the clear blue digital test, and did it for a few months so knew I tended to get a static smiley around day 13/14.

I got my static smiley on the 24th January and we did the deed 20th, 22nd, 24th and 25th.

Pretty similar to the "purple method" famous on here.

The clear blue digital is really good, I only used to then do it when I got to like the morning of day 12 and I did it then morning and night to not miss the peak. So one packet lasted me about 4/5 months as I checked my cycle for a few months before we actually started trying. I'd really recommend this.

I hope this helps anyone.

I was also breastfeeding my little boy, still am 🙄, so I don't think that does impact if you are getting regular periods.

Also my little boy is a December baby, and it's really magical around Christmas so I'd really not let it put you off. If I hadn't tried that month I wouldn't have him!

Wishing you all luck xxx

Purple29 · 11/03/2022 16:07

@Diamondbabe congrats on the pregnancy.

How old is your DS? Mine has just turned 2 and I'm still breastfeeding also, I would happily stop now but he just wants before sleep, and it does help him go down.

My period is regular and I did conceive in Dec, but was a loss.

MangoLipstick · 11/03/2022 19:26

Thank you for sharing @Diamondbabe & congratulations on your pregnancy 🎉

When I got pregnant with dd, I also used the clear blue digital, if I remember correctly ( it was 3 years ago!) we dtd in a similar pattern to what you described. (back when I had very regular 28 day cycle😫)

My periods only came back last May (after 16 months!) I’m still bf dd who is nearly 2 and a half, twice a day and not for a long amount. I was abit worried it was causing my cycles to be abit crazy ( I had a couple of cycles with no ov) but managed to conceive last Oct ( sadly ended with a mmc in Jan)

We would be very happy with a December baby! I agree, it would be magical, no one in my (huge) family has a December birthday so it would be a 1st if we did manage to conceive this cycle🍀

RSmamaa · 12/03/2022 07:02

Hi guys. Sorry I got a bit lost in the thread in the beginning. Really hoping this is the month for us. DS turns one this month and I am going back to work after maternity leave so not sure what chances we will get really. Have started tracking BBT today on CD4 (AF leaves today or tomorrow) but I have really long cycles and don't ovulated until around day 25 😩 I'm sure they weren't this long before being pregnant so hoping my hormones are just a bit up and down. TTC cycle 1 was 37 days long and cycle 2 was 36 😭😭😭😭😭😭 hop you are all ok!

MangoLipstick · 12/03/2022 09:16

Hi @RSmamaa
How are you finding tracking BBT? I’ve never done it because I’m worried it wouldn’t be accurate. I wake up quite a few times early morning ( I read you need at least 3 hours of sleep in a row?)

My periods after having dc ranged from 40 days to 23(!)

RSmamaa · 12/03/2022 16:37

@MangoLipstick i have done it before but it is very hard. I have a 1yr old who still wakes in the night sometimes so getting the solid 3 hours is difficult. I also randomly wake on my own. It seemed to be pretty accurate last time and I think using OPKs and tracking CM will help determine ovulation. Yes my longest since birth was 44 days!! Shortest 29

Hope0123 · 12/03/2022 21:58

Hi everyone,
Silent follower here... Finding support with your wonderful group. 2 friends pregnancy announcements this week and feeling 😓 xx

TeddyBeans · 12/03/2022 23:16

Oioi AF showed up today, I didn't even get to POAS this month! Into cycle 3 for baby #2. DS is 4 on the 19th. If I fall this cycle I'm looking at a 17th December due date 🤣

Let's spread that baby dust and a little bit of Christmas cheer hey ladies!? ✨🎅

TeddyBeans · 12/03/2022 23:17

19th April that is!

RSmamaa · 13/03/2022 06:44

@TeddyBeans If I fall I will be due 22nd 😆 the thought scares me.

Galaxyrippleforever · 13/03/2022 15:55

Hi all, hoping it's okay to join. I am 1dpo on first cycle of TTC baby 2 (I have an almost four year old). We dtd 5 times this week and I'm naively getting my hopes up for successful cycle 1... Only 13 days to testing!

sherbetmelon · 13/03/2022 16:23

@Galaxyrippleforever @TeddyBeans I also have a 3yo, she will be 4 in august so coming on 4.5 for when we'll hopefully have DC2! It's such a fun age isn't it. I think the nest is going to feel so empty when she starts school though :'(

RSmamaa · 13/03/2022 18:58

CD5 today which means AF has left the building 👏🏼

Still about 3 weeks away from ovulation 😹😿

sherbetmelon · 13/03/2022 21:02

@RSmamaa CD8 for me but also a couple of weeks away from ovulation still (usually around CD25). Do you always ov late? X

RSmamaa · 13/03/2022 21:58

@sherbetmelon my cycles seem to be all over the place since DS. Last two cycles I ovulated around day 25 too so at least we cycle buddies 😆. Only 20 days to go...
