Hi all,

I've been off microgynon since December and my partner and I are going to start trying from my next cycle. One thing that's worrying me is that my periods since coming off the pill have been so light, I could wear one pad for a whole day for about 3 days and that's all I would need. Periods seem to be arriving quite regularly though, every 28/29 days. Is this going to cause a problem with implantation? I know it takes a while for periods to regulate after being on the pill, but would love to know your thoughts! Xxxx

I came off the pill and took around 6 months for my periods to return to normal. I didn’t fall pregnant in that time sadly. Once they returned to normal I was more hopeful but still nothing happened.
I had two months of incredibly light periods and got myself upset about it thinking the worst. The third month my period was late and I just expected not to have it. Took a pregnancy test and it was positive! Was very surprised because the periods were just like yours, very light and what I thought was short!
You are having regular cycles, just might take a little time for your body to adjust but it’s still possible to fall pregnant!
