Just need to write this down! Been TTC for 4 years (with varying degrees of intensity), now at the stage where if it happens, it happens so I haven’t been tracking ovulation or anything like that. We took the pressure off.

I’m always a 28 day cycle. Always. Apart from once, the first month we were TTC, when it was 33 days. I remember testing, it was negative, then straight afterwards AF arrived.

Well, today I’m on day 33. Don’t want to test because I’m just sure it’ll be negative. But a little part of me is thinking, maybe…?

Haven’t spoken to DH about it because I don’t want to get his hopes up either (and I know he’ll just tell me to test - I think all the negatives in the early days have given me some kind of test PTSD!)

So, I’m just dropping this here. Limbo!

I think you need to take a test

I had this last month. Got to CD34 before AF came - usually bang on 28 days. Take a test, it's the only way to know

Well it’s totally possible! You need to take a test OP. You Havnt had your covid booster or anything this cycle have you? Only mentioning that because I’ve read on here quite a bit that it’s delayed peoples cycles. Fingers crossed it’s a BFP!

Took one but the test was a dud!!! No more in the house now, will have to wait until at least tomorrow to take another.

No sign really. Bit of backache but that’s about it.

Just an update ladies. Still no AF, and I can’t do a pregnancy test until Saturday (DH works away and I couldn’t do it without him) But I just found an old OPK in the cupboard from when we started trying and - well, it’s definitely positive. Dying to get my hands on a pregnancy test now! After 4 years this is taking a bit to get my head around!

Congratulations! That's a very very pregnant test as the test line is way darker than the control line. I think it's called the 'hook effect' where if there's loads of hcg the dye is leached from the control line to the test line. You must be quite far along!
