Evaporation Line

Hey! I recently came off the pill and have been actively trying to get pregnant. I took a clear blue test yesterday after having mild symptoms. Completely forgot about the test so checked late and I could see a very faint line. Took another one and couldn’t see anything. 1st time I’ve heard about this “evaporation line” so wondering if anyone could give me advice?

Don’t read the test after the time specified to read it. It does generally say in the instructions not to because of evaporation lines and people reading it as a false positive.

Retest in another couple of days with FMU.

Agree with pp, sadly the test isn’t reliable after a certain amount of time.
