Currently ttc baby number 2 after having our DD almost 3 years ago now. We are 3 months in ttc and no luck yet, I fell pregnant the first cycle with my DD so was naively expecting the same this time!

I use an app to track my periods and it gives me my estimated fertile window but not convinced it's very accurate. I'm currently on my period but want to be prepared for this next cycle and do everything I can, so have ordered some ovulation tests but I have no idea how often I'm meant to do them, from when etc

Help a newbie out and tell me everything I need to know to get the most out of these tests please Smile

  • Use the easy@home brand
  • Wait for background to dry white before reading
  • Use the pre-mom app to upload pics, it will compare them for you
  • do two a day when they start to darken
  • it will tell you when you're ovulating, but allow a few months to really understand your pattern
  • sometimes they get darker again towards your period, this doesn't mean anything, just a little LH spike.

Think that's all!

Download the PreMom app and use the easy@home sticks (same company). It’s foolproof.

Take your photo after five minutes as they all get dark after drying. Take your photo in the same place each time. And all the tips above! Smile

Some great advice, thank you! Do I start testing as soon as my period stops?

Yeah I would! Then you know your baseline.
