Hi anyone else in the tww or just about to be ? I'm 2dpo and looking for some cycle buddies to chat with on this wait

Hi. I’m 1DPO cycle 3 TTC no.2. Last month I went mad testing from 8dpo but I’ve go no tests in the house (yet!) hoping to try and get to at least 12 dpo before peeing on a stick.
We also didn’t get chance to dtd much this cycle. Once on my peak OPK day and the other time 2 days before it. Not feeling hopeful to be honest.

Can I join? Had an iui (insemination) today. Also on lots of hormones so not allowed to test for the whole two weeks as can get a false positive so its going to be a long wait!

@CherryBlossom100 that’s going to be so tough waiting the full 2 weeks. I might try and do the same to keep you company.

Was already thinking of trying to cheat and taking a cheapie test every day from tomorrow.
Hoping the line might get lighter as days go on as the injection wears off and then darker again if pregnant. Risky though.

Hi @TiredbutTrying41 and @CherryBlossom100 hope you're both well! I'm ttc #3 my partner and I each have 2children with ex partners so will be our 1st baby together. It's been a roller coaster so far started ttc last June fell pg straight away but had 3mc in a row and now I just feel it'll never happen was so hopeful last month.
Omg @TiredbutTrying41 I was exactly the same last month as I'd bought the easy@home opks and hcg test pack off amazon I think I got 20 hcg test and literally used them all there was no need but I got a bit addicted 🙈🤣! I'll try and be good this month and at least wait until 11dpo I have no willpower though hopefully we can keep each other sane 😊. @CherryBlossom100 was this your first time having iui? Definitely going to be a long tww if you can't test but yes like tired said we can try keep you company Praying! Just wish it was test day in the tww I can't think of anything else it's like I just become so obsessed lol! Praying for baby dust for us all 🤞

I had my daughter by iui 4 years ago. She was conceived first try and this is my first try this time for #2. There were two follicles when they scanned so that ups the chances slightly but trying to lower expectations.

Sorry to hear of your mcs @Arl93, last year must have been such a tough year for you. I'm 4dpo today so in the tww too however only DTD once on day of ov so not convinced we are in with much chance

In the TWW too. I think I'm 5 or 6 dpo 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@CherryBlossom100 yeah its very tough and emotional. thank you, praying for my rainbow 🌈. What is iui if you don't mind me asking, sorry if I sound dumb lol. Definitely sounds positive for this time round, since you got pregnant with your daughter first time 🤞. Totally understand trying to lower expectations, I'm the same though it's hard not to imagine how wonderful it would be to get that bfp.

Hey @Greenwhale thank you, it was a very rough year started out with so much hope and excitement after the first bfp then honestly just lost all hope and was very down, still am some days but just hoping and praying for a lil rainbow 🌈. Tww makes me crazy I'm so impatient lol! It only takes one time fingers crossed for you 🤞

How is everyone doing ?

I caved and took an early 10miu test and see a vvvvvvfl but can't get apic of it. It's probably an indent so we will see tomorrow. On Wednesday I had some twinges and some yesterday too. But today I've had similar pains to period cramping so hoping it's implantation pains 🤞🏼

Has anyone else caved yet?

How’s everyone doing? Only 3DPO so nowhere near the testing days yet.
My concern is that my LB has got chicken pox. I’ve already had them but do you think this could harm anything?
I’m hoping to get to next weekend before I cave. Not got any tests at all. Even used all my OPK’s up this time. Must….not….order….tests….

Iui is at a Fertility clinic. They put a catheter through the cervix and inject the sperm into the uterus. I was also on Fertility drugs which means I know I ovulated two eggs this month. Ups the chances of a pregnancy slightly. 🥰
@RSmamaa I think the earliest you can get a faint positive is 8-9 dpo but fingers crossed your pain was implantation. Sprinkling baby dust your way!
I'm now 2 dpo. Been testing every morning and still positive tests so far due to the drugs.

@CherryBlossom100 I know but I'm not sure when I ovulated lol. I first logged EGCM 10 days ago so could have been any time between then and 28th when it turned sticky. I'm aware you can still have fertile CM up to 2/3 days after you ovulate

@RSmamaa did you test again today how many dpo are you? I'm 5 today and so impatient been just lh testing still just to help my poas addiction 🙃. Lh has been up and down since ov not sure if that means anything as I've seen people say it fluctuates throughout cycle.

@TiredbutTrying41 how are you today ? Hope your lb is okay with chicken pox! I don't think it would harm anything I'm not an expert lol but never heard that it could. I honestly wish I didn't have any test in as I am already itching to test even though I know its crazy and I wouldn't have even implanted yet but by 7 8 9 dpo I'm sure I'll cave 🙈

@CherryBlossom100 ah wow its amazing the things that can be done to help with fertility isn't it? Ovulating two eggs definitely sounds promising! Could it even be twins with 2 eggs? I'm seeing consultant next Friday to hopefully get some checks done to see about fertility, really wishing to be pregnant at that point though. When would your tests start to go negative then back to positive if you're pregnant?

Hi I’m on 4DPO. I think this is cycle 18 or so, I’ve lost count now. TTC for the first time, haven’t had any success so far despite initial infertility tests all showing no issues. Have really gone for it this month and have used a fertilily and preseed, and DTD about 1003838282 times!!! Fingers crossed

Yes chance of twins is higher than usual. Think roughly 20% chance of a single pregnancy and 5% chance of twins.
Getting lots of twinges and cramps but guessing its the meds that I'm on. Also exhausted, felt like I needed an afternoon nap today.
The trigger should be gone by 10dpo but the pregnancy test was pretty light today. Just got my hopes up so much. Doesn't help that each try costs around £4000. 😑

I took another test this morning and I'm sure I see a shadow but can't tell if theres any colour to it. I can't get a picture either in this light. Oh well, try again tomorrow

@Flippy87 how many dpo are you now? It's a good thing that all the testing came back showing no issues hopefully this is your month! How did you get on with the preseed? I've heard a lot about it and have been thinking of trying it next time if nothing happens

I understand getting your hopes up I do the same every month and hate how obsessive I get it literally controls my whole life always thinking of poas and trying to see lines that aren't there the whole ttc has me a broken woman lol and I'm sure dp is sick of me going on every day about it all just want this so desperately

@RSmamaa how many dpo are you now ? Did you take any more tests ? I caved this morning 7dpo and obviously negative hoping I just still haven't implanted and will try hold off till the end of the week but I doubt i will lol!

Hello this is my first post. I just feel like i really could use some people to talk to about it as I see lines every month on tests but turns out i have definate line eyes, My husband thinks im about to go insane! haha TTC baby number 2, My son is 3.5years, Have had 2 chemicals since Jan 2021. I am 10/11 DPO. And have done a FRER test, i dont usually buy them i usually but the bulk one step tests but something told me to get it today. I think i can see a line (but i always think i see a line) i understand its early, but would appriciate if someone else could take a look since if its not bright pink my husband dosn't believe its there.

Arl I’m 6DPO. Preseed we’ve been using the whole time, I think it’s fine. My DH sometimes says it makes him feel a little bit numb 🤣 but I think that’s also maybe just the performance pressure of DTD for a purpose rather than just fun?

I am of course pleased all the results were good but HOW can we be on cycle 18 if there’s no issues?! Doesn’t make sense to me

This 2WW is really killing me, I’m going to try to hold off testing until period due too because otherwise I found I was testing 9dpo then 10dpo then 11dpo and each time getting my hopes up like oh maybe I just tested too early so trying to manage my expectations this time!!

arl also on preseed I’ve never bothered using the applications, I just put a blob on my finger and do as if I’m inserting a tampon (sorry probably TMI!!!)
