Hello, I have been TTC for 4 months and went to the GP when I started who offered a bloody test, the results came back that I had low progesterone, which makes sense as my luteal phase is about 9-10 days and the last two cycles I have had spotting before my period started .

I am booked into a fertility clinic but my appointment is not until May. I have researched online and alot of people have recommend B6 , I started taking it daily but read its best to take after you have ovulated.

I am taking around 110mg is that too much as I have just seen on the NHS website it recommends only 15mg?! I don't know if I should just stop taking anything (apart from Folic acid) or just stick to 15mg. Has anyone else had this issue and has B6 worked ( I'm taking it with magnesium, vitamin C, D, Zinc and Folic acid)

or anything to help with low progesterone

Any tips and advice would be amazing! Thank you

I started TTC in Sep 20 for no 2 and this time round my luteal phases rarely got longer than 9 days. I read lots of threads and did lots of googling but found nothing conclusive. I started taking all sorts of supplements but nothing. We stopped trying for a while because of work reasons and one lot of unprotected sex got me pregnant in November, when I was on no supplements at all!

So in my experience (and a couple of other threads I found on here), it's not necessarily a barrier to getting pregnant, just a little trickier.

Hoping you get pregnant soon and all is well, keep the faith
