Hello,

I’ve not officially been trying for a baby but sort of ‘see what happens’ for the past 6 months, dtd without using protection.

I now want to actively ttc and would like to use ovulation sticks as I haven’t got a regular cycle 🤦‍♀️ There are soooo many brands out there. Which ones do you recommend!?

Thank you 😘

Anyone?
@TTCBABYNO2xx I’m guessing you’re trying for baby number 2? I currently have a 2.5 year old DD x

Based on your name I’m guessing that!

They’re so cute but can be right terrors at the same time at that age can’t they 😂 The terrible 2’s haven’t put me off going for a second so can’t all be that bad! Xx

Easy@home

Other brands the dye seems really watery or the strips are too thin.

lovescaca · 01/03/2022 20:23

Well I used cheap Amazon ones for 2yrs and nothing. Conceived first try using clear blue ovulation sticks. Now 6mnths pregnant 😁

HelloKittyGirl · 01/03/2022 20:29

Clearblue. Although they’re not completely perfect.

Definitely don’t bother with the Boots ones. Even after injecting myself with HCG (which should have produced an immediate strong positive) the line still wasn’t anywhere near as dark as the control line.

Thank you all! Congratulations on your pregnancy too @lovescaca x

I recommend easy at home as well. It is handy being able to upload the pictures to their app to see your LH peak. We had been winging it just not using contraceptive. Got pregnant 1st month TTC using easy at home

mrssunshinexxx · 02/03/2022 01:32

Clear blue 4 day ones x

justsippingsometea · 02/03/2022 06:55

Clear blue are good (as in very easy to use) but a bit expensive and if you have PCOS or irregular cycles (like me) then they are a bit useless.

Thank you ❤️

Also just to add on the easy at home ones they are cheap. I was happy with one a day but plenty of women were saying on the TTC thread I was in they tested 2/3 times a day. Also didn't feel like I was wasting them starting to test the day my period ended. The CB sticks were so much more expensive.
