How long did it take to conceive your second?

It took me 9 cycles to get pregnant with my daughter and I was hoping that was bad luck and I'd get there quickly with my second, but so far 5 cycles and nothing :( Those of you who took several months or longer to get pregnant the first time, how long did it take you the second time?

I'm not sure I'm the sort of person you want to respond but my first successful pregnancy (DD) took 14 months with a miscarriage in between.

in stark contrast, my son was a surprise pregnancy, my cycles had not returned properly as I was still breastfeeding 14 month old DD. I started feeling really rough and low and behold a scan showed i was 8 weeks pregnant.

I really do think every pregnancy is different and you just cant predict how long it will take. good luck.

Hello! Not sure this will help because I'm still ttc #2.

First pregnancy (mmc) - 8 months to conceive
Second pregnancy (dd) - 8 months to conceive
Ttc #2 - currently in my 6th month of ttc. I think some of us just take longer than others!

3 years and a round of ivf to conceive DS1. Currently pregnant after first try naturally!

About 10 minutes

Seriously though, it took 11 months to conceive our first and literally one try with our second. That's why there's only 16 months between them.

10 years.
Unexplained secondary infertility.
Plus multiple miscarriages after 5 years of trying.
Exactly 10 years on I got my 2nd child.

Take nothing for granted.

7 years. I did have an ovarian cyst removed though, about 2 months before I eventually conceived.

First pregnancy -many years and 4 rounds of ivf. 2nd pregnancy -a miracle surprise!

I've got 4 kids. My second and third children took about 14 months to conceive. I think it's worth noting my children are to different men but the second and third kids are full siblings so I feel like there was an issue with their father as I didn't try for my first child, so technically first cycle and my fourth child I fell pregnant on first cycle of trying. I obviously had no issue with falling pregnant but it just seemed to take forever when I was with their father.

Pregnant second cycle with fist. Still no Pregnant with 2nd, 6 years later.
