Positive test or evap line?

Yesterday I did a coop pregnancy test, and had the faintest, tiniest line when held in certain positions / lighting! I then rushed back out and bought a pack of three clear blue tests. I did the test, waited the 3 minutes and it was negative. We will skip the part where I cried for two hours downstairs, whilst the test laid resting on my bed side table. My husband nipped upstairs for something, and came back down with the positive test. The test had changed from negative to positive. It must have done this after the first ten minutes. Now I know a test is probably inaccurate after the first 10 minutes, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. But I am holding on to whatever hope I can, that I might be pregnant. I took another Coop test this morning, with my first morning wee and of course, that was negative ... so I slowly am loosing hope.

I will attach a picture of the positive strip test I had yesterday afternoon, as well as the "positive" clear blue test. How likely is it for a test to turn from negative to positive if you are not pregnant? My friends have said they have never experienced this before with other, negative clear blue tests.

I think you have to be really careful with ClearBlue as they are prone to evaps. I've only used their dye sticks once before and my line came up obviously blue and present after one minute.

Yes, sorry it’s an evap. It’s best to throw away the strip after the allotted time as they won’t be accurate. As you’ve also had negative tests too, it seems pretty conclusive. I hope you have better luck next month.

Save yourself the heartache and only use pink dye tests.

I would test again in 48hrs.
